It's all in what you need
I purchased one of these for woodworking and it has served me very well over the past few months. I'm not needing 1/64" accuracy, so the complaint about it "not staying zeroed" is not a big deal.
I haven't found anything negative with the quality.
On the design part however, I wish it were possible to "lessen" the fractional units since 1/64" and usually 1/32" are unnecessary and complicate finding the size I actually need. I'm not quick enough with math to figure how close 1/64ths are to the nearest 1/16" or 1/8". The measurements written on the device are in 10ths, so they don't really help either.
These are insignificant issues and I wouldn't "not buy" it just because of them.

measure twice from
This tool will push your buttons.
Of course, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Still, why put out an inferior product. I've only used this twice. On the first attempt the buttons were difficult to activate the unit. On the second attempt they wouldn't work at all. Then, while merely tapping on the side to loosen the button, the display crystal cracked. Do yourself a favor and put a little more money in a "quality product".

Don't waste your money
This caliper doesn't hold a zero. It has to be reset everytime you use it. I can have it set at zero, put it down, and watch it drift away from zero!
When measuring, it has a habit of resetting itself during the measuring process making the measuring process virtually useless.

As Bad As They Come
At the outset, I will echo the sentiments of others who have had less than flattering opinions. This caliper is, simply put, unequivocally junk, extremely cheaply made and virtually all plastic (which they classify as 'Carbon').
To charge more than $1.00 is an outrage.

Don't buy them
Not accurate, doesn't stay zeroed, cheap, will not recommend them to anyone. Very unhappy with them. Not worth the price

Not so Good
This product is plastic and not so accurate. Not good for machining. Perhaps for some basic measurements but generally folks who use these want them to be accurate and not bend when trying to make a measurement. Not happy in Canada. I will be looking for a better quality one.

Only down side - Plastic body
I saw this caliper on an end cap for $25 and decided on a whim to purchase it as I was searching for one for a while with Fractional measurements. While I really like having the fractional measurements, along with SAE and METRIC readings, I was really disappointed to realize that it has a plastic body. This is really a poor selection in design as the tip of the caliper used for depth readings is very easy to catch on stuff and break off if plastic. The caliper does seem to be very accurate, and for $25 what can you really expect, but even Harbor Freight has a metal body on their "Pittsburg" brand of calipers, but no fractional measurements. The plastic body does seem to flex when trying to measure certain items such as a table saw track to fence measurement, or a deep depth measurement for mortises, etc.
I would probably buy this tool again, but I would be willing to pay a little more for one with a metal body.

Great help with installing wood floors
I bought this caliper to measure the size of the boards of my pre finished hardwood floors so there would not be any gaps. It worked great and was very accurate. The only problem is the top of the slide mechanism sometimes gets bumped out of place because it is too close to the end.
