Prefer my old D28065 Grinder
Did the brushes but it finally ran out of Rheolube 380 Gl1. After a year/year and a half in started getting too hot to use. Hoping a fresh repack of grease will get it going again. My old grinder seemed to last longer. Onto Dewalts Brushless grinder, so we will see how that goes. ..

Wrench not needed!
I had read people complaining the lack of wrench, to remove the lock nut use the SUPPLIED ALLEN WRENCH! works like a charm!!!
powerful grinder, but didn't last for years, it lasted me for 6 months and worked intermittently from then forward.

Light and powerful
Bought at home depot. I feel it is a perfect compromise between a 4-1/2" and 7" grinder. Not so heavy as to demolish your wrists after prolonged use, but not underpowered like some 4-1/2" grinders. The gear head does get quite hot after even a short cuts. The motor feels nicely balanced with very little vibration. The force required to stall it is beyond what I feel is safe and controllable. I don't foresee replacing this tool prematurely. The trigger handle is a little small, but for my smaller hands, it feels great.

Great grinder!
I have two of these on my welding truck and i use them daily. after a year of use i am still please with them. the RPM is slower than smaller grinders, to compensate for the larger capacity, so dont expect a 13,000 rpm screaming shower of sparks. For the cost, you cant beat it. The do seem to be slightly weaker than comparable 13 amp tools, but AC/DC input versatility makes up for that small hit. Ill be picking up two more soon.

Completely worthless
This is the updated model of the treasured tried and true 6 inch DeWalt grinder that I know and love, until this ardent wasteland of a tool replaced it. 2 days of light use was apparently all it's rated for as on day three all it did was make a sickening clicking sound. Leaving me in the middle of nowhere without one of my most crucial tools, unable to complete my task for my customer. Words could not have described my anger and fury when for years DeWalt in my opinion has had the best 6" grinder on the market. Quality must no longer be important to this manufacturer.
