There is a spring in the middle. What is that spring for? I use this screw bit for tightening drywall. The dimple is either too deep or too shallow. I guess it was the spring that make the dimple deeper than I pre-set. Any tips on setting the depth?

Rated 3 out of 5 by gottcha from works for a few screws then rest needed it works very well. its just that the screw goes out of adjustment making screw go deeper. Every 10 screws or so have to check depth setting.
