My experience
I purchased this to cutout recessed lights and outlets in drywall. It does come with a bit which is not obvious from the description. It took a few tries to figure out the best technique but once I did it works great. Set the depth correctly before starting. Plunge into the box first and then make a cross mark with the tool to outline the top, bottom and sides. This will give you the basic outline of where you need to cut. Next jump over to the outer edge of the box and make your cut clockwise around the edge. It's that simple. Before cutting make sure you push in any electrical wires as far back in the box as possible. Otherwise you will cut the wires like I did once.

Great tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent tool. Get a guide tipped bit to use when cutting around thin plastic electrical boxes so you don’t cut right through them.

Good tool, but provided bit not good choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tested this on some drywall and outlet boxes and works fine. Warning: the bit provided with the tool does NOT do the primary task. You will need to get some bits that are smooth on the end. The smooth part spins against the box and guides the bit, kind of like a router. The provided bit will cut into the box.
