Dewalt 3" cup brush
The brush worked ok out of the box. I used it for removing rust off of my boat trailer to repaint it. It did not take long for the bristles to start flying out at 100 mph and sticking into everything around me including my clothes and skin. Granted, this will start to happen with any brush. I spent almost $20 on this one, and when it was shot I went to the local hardware store for a new one quick and bought the only one that they had which was $6.50 and some brand I have never heard of. After using that one for awhile I realized that the bristles were staying in it better the the dewalt which was 3 times more. Save your money and buy a cheaper one. Not worth the price when you are just paying for a brand name.

Junk
Bought this cup to remove paint off of an old bike frame. Used it on an 11,000 rpm rated angle grinder for about 45 minutes and nearly all of the wires came off of the cup and were scattered over every square inch of my garage. Wires were also embedded in my clothing and skin!!! Will be taking this cup back for a refund.

Beware of this brush
If you don't have an armored suit (including head protection) DO NOT buy this product. It shoots out wires like a machine gun. They must mean 1400 rpm, no way 14,000. I bought a set of high speed brushes at HF for 9.99 figuring they would not last long. As it turns out they are much better quality than the Dewalt. In this case you don't get what you paid for!

Fell Apart After Eight Hours Of Use
Used this brush for a total or eight hours over several months. On the last project (cleaning a metal surface to be painted) ALL the bristles sheared off and were embedded in my clothing. This brush is now a useless metal cup.

Poor quilty
The wire in the brush flies off. Make sure you where eye protection. I found that the wire brush did not hold up to even easy use.

Worked well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Screwed it on to my angle grinder and went to town on a piece of steel with paint on it. Let’s just say there is no more paint left.
Wear safety glasses and long sleeves. Bristles do fly and sting.

DeWalt 3" wire Brush
I needed to remove paint on my aluminum Pontoon Boat Floats, The Brush did a fair job.
But after only a few feet of cleaning the bristles started to fly out and caused the brush to go out of balance.

Worked well for a few hours then wore down.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked well for a few hours but then wore dow to stubble quickly on the next use. OK for short term use but not a serious tool. Not worth the price and a dissapointment to the Dewalt name.
