Powerful and very easy to maneuver
Excellent jigsaw to have for any project. Very powerful, but easy to maneuver for those precision cuts. Excellent for detail work.

Awesome little saw
The good:
Powerful
Accurate
Easy blade change
Well balanced
The Bad:
Not a whole lot other than it can eat up batteries pretty quick but that's expected with a tool that is as powerful as this one.
Review: I recently purchase this machine to go ahead and cut intricate letters for wooden signs that I have been working on for my fiance. First off I'll say that this tool has lived up to everything I have wanted it to and more is extremely easy to use and functions very well The locking mechanism that allows it to cut a bevel is great. It will lock and a 90 degree position and also a 45 degree position which allows you to take the guesswork out of your settings. Also the balance of the barrel grip model is tremendous when scroll cutting I have recently scroll cut block cursive lettering and it is done everything that I have asked it to. The only issue I have and it's not even a bad one is that it does tend to eat up batteries I use a 6 amp battery and get about 45 minutes of use out of it which isn't bad especially if you keep another battery on backup and rotate them on the charger then you don't have any issues. I would recommend this to anybody that's wanting to do detailed scroll cuts.

I look for reasons to use my new jigsaw!
I absolutely love this jigsaw! A little heavy, but well balanced. So, its easy to maneuver for precise cuts. Only con, I wish it was a bit quieter and it should've come with a screw for a guide. Kind of weird that you have to purchase the screw separately.

Brighten up your day
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the dcs331 for probably 8 years. I picked it up after my corded dewalt was stolen. Lately I had been getting frustrated with the loveliness of my cuts through thicker wood. So I pulled the trigger on the dcs 335 after reading some comparisons of barrel grip vs d handle. Not only am I more satisfied with my cuts but the leds to light up the cut line are a game changer I feel like I am sitting at the scroll saw and just hugging the line. As for the other features I like the new blade release it seems to be more stout. The shoe tilt had some added stops at the 45 degree positions. When it come right down to it I would definitely recommend an upgrade if not the dcs335 because you dont like the barrel get the dcs335 this is 15 years of well thought out innovation.

Well built, great quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this at the local big box hardware store, it was a bit expensive for just the tool, and used it on a construction project last 3 weeks. Great design, build quality. Love it. Yes I'm going from a B&D single speed I've had for 30 years, but with the right blades this cuts like a hot knife thru butter.

Cope Saw Deluxe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After seeing several videos on utilizing a barrel handle jig saw with a Collins Foot to cope inside crown corners, I decided to add this to my ever growing 20v platform. I have to admit that there is a learning curve in using the aftermarket foot but this jig saw is a great work of engineering. The ergonomics of the tool when held upside down are remarkable in balance and control. The brushless motor will smooth through any wood stock and I have yet to drain a fresh battery in a day. Super pleased with this purchase and thanks to Insider Carpentry and ThisisCarpentry.com for the tutorials.

Excellent Jig Saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the ergonomics of this saw. It’s very easy to use and feels great to use in most scenarios. The only slightly awkward thing is trying to rotate the speed dial during use for when I try to start a cut on a slower speed and increase speed in the cut. It takes a little practice with his design but I’m ok with that trade-off. I also wish I could find a dust extraction adapter for this saw. Otherwise, it’s compact allowing me to carry it in our mobile kits in our vans for quick work in the field. All controls are easy to reach with one hand while in use. The blade release is an excellent design and has been made to be simple as possible. I tend to cut a lot of plastics, wood and metals and the variable speed settings are perfect for a broad variety of applications. Much better than trying to maintain a slow speed on a variable speed trigger for plastics or aluminum. I’m happy it has different settings for orbital action and the ability to turn that feature off as well. I still use a D-handle jig saw with variable speed trigger as well but only for a few specific uses. This has become my go to and same for my crew.

Very happy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well built, love the grip (the main reason to buy it). Used for cutting drywall and wood. I only wish it was bit lighter and bit smaller. 4.2 ponds feels quite heavy and one hand use requires lot of strength and practice. Sie and weight same as main competitors so not many other options for smaller and lighter. Else no reservations and highly recommend!
