The 20V MAX biscuit joiner (tool only), part of DEWALT's XR premium lineup of tools, delivers powerful and consistent cutting performance in a wide range of wood-based materials. Users can achieve accurate results with 0, 10, and 20 biscuits (all sold separately) using the tool-free adjustment features. At just 5.5 lbs. (tool only), the biscuit joiner will be a handy addition to any shop or jobsite. Battery and charger sold separately.

- Compatible with DEWALT's AirLocksystem or a standard 35 mm dust extractor to minimize dust during cutting (system and extractor sold separately)

Question
I liked it, worked well. But I don't know why the handle is on the body instead of the fence, like the corded Porter Cable? It's only useful as a carry handle in that position. Fortunately there is a place at the front for a thumb to hold the fence in position.
I'd definitely buy a replacement for this one. But if they put the handle on the fence I would have two.

Impressive cordless 20v biscuit jointer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions of the DCW682 is how well balanced the tool is. I was worried that it would be hard to control and be very front heavy but even with a 1.7ah power stack the tool felt great even one handed if necessary. It was accurate right out of the box, All I had to do was measure my wood thickness set the gauge to half of the total thickness and select my biscuit size. The center line of the biscuit is clearly marked with notches in the casting with red paint to help it stand out. Depth adjustment is just a simple turn knob with detents to set the depth for the standard #0, #10 and #20 biscuits. The angle and depth gauges are easy to read and have nice arrows to dial the took in. Plunge pressure is stiff but in a good way that makes you feel more secure with the tool and prevents any kick or movement. I'll be using this for many projects to come next on the list is a toy box for my son!

Dewalt 20v biscuit joiner is an everyman tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one handy little tool. I started out to build a table and ended up joining 4' x 4" posts to make a frame for my throwing knives. This tool made that possible and completely effortless. I bypassed hours of drilling and fastening with screws, once these were glued and joined the frame holds everything together fantastically. I'm so impressed that I cannot wait to start another project.

Does the job well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This biscuit joiner does what it was intended for very well, on par with its corded counterparts easily. I was shocked that dust collection did so well, this literally left no mess and could use indoors at the project piece. I know most people have replaced biscuits for pocket holes now, but if youre looking for a true seemless hidden joinery method this is the true craftsman method a professional will use. This is a much stronger joint but there is a learning curve, so practice up and you will be a pro in no time!

Holy biscuits, Batman!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time owning a biscuit joiner and WOW! Why have I not had this tool before? Makes excellent cuts and makes joining planks together a breeze. Super easy to use. Kicks out more dust than I’d like and I wish it had a bigger dust port connection option. Otherwise it’s great and I highly recommend picking one of these babies up if you can. 👍🏻👍🏻

Great cordless product

Portable and powerful biscuit joiner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a handyman)kitchen batch remodeler.
And this works perfect for that purpose. Portability is a must for me. And this joiner fits the bill.
My first use for building shelving units in a pantry. Deepth adjustment was easy.
Had no problem with power. I was using a 5ah battery and it had plenty of battery and power to finish the job.
I will say if you are a dedicated woodworker you may still want to stick with a corded joiner.
Ergonomically it felt great the rubber grips made it easy to hold onto and work great to stop you from damaging your project.
I only used the 5ah battery but I could see it getting cumbersome if you step it up to a larger battery.
Overall I would say this biscuit joiner is going to make a great addition to my work truck arsenal. And is a welcome addition to the DeWalt lineup.
