Description

Remove rough edges and excess material with the Dewalt cordless angle grinder. It has a side handle for a firm, controlling grip and a motor that requires no brush changes. Activating the brake stops the brushless angle grinder wheel within two seconds. A kickback brake engages automatically as needed. Other safety features of the 20-volt angle grinder include a two-stage trigger and E-Switch protection.

E-switch protection(TM)-the on/off trigger switch has a no-volt release function. in the event of a power outage or other unexpected shut down, the trigger switch will need to be cycled (turned off and then on) to restart tool

Rated 1 out of 5 by WLind from Don't Recommend I've had this grinder for 4 months and have used very sparingly. Went to use it yesterday and the rpms were significantly lower than usual and it started smoking/getting extremely hot in the housing. Now it barely turns at all with fresh batteries. I use other dewalt cordless products that are 5 stars, this one is not one of them. Even when it did work correctly it would only last a few minutes cutting with a 4 ah battery. Hopefully they honor their warranty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kernal from Run time is poor First, I have typically had good luck with Dewalt tools. This grinder disappoints. I have had this about 6months. I tried to figure out if the grinder, the charger, or the batteries were defective. Shame on me for not investigating a product properly. I was getting about 10 to 15 minutes run time. Here is why; 800W rating, 20V batteries rated at 4Ahr, so 800W/20V is 40A at full load. 4Ahr/40A is 0.1Hrs, or about 6minutes. What a huge disappointment.
