This is an XR battery
I have 4 5ah XR batteries and they work great on my XR tools but I wanted something a little more compact and lighter for my drills so I purchased 4 of these 2ah batteries last year. No complaints at all, never let your lithiums run down all the way, once you notice them really losing their charge ....it's time to recharge them, make sure the batteries "click" into the charger. These batteries are XR's, DeWALT changed the label and removed the XR labels in 2019 ...for what reason I don't know, just to confuse us I guess.

Impact driver battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this battery for my impact driver and provides all the power I need and last approx 8 hrs on a steady use basis. Powers both 18 volt with adapter and 20 volt drill and impact drivers got many hours. It is good for only approx 4 hrs for my 6 1/2 in dewalt power saw. The saw eats through this smaller battery fairly quickly. Recommend larger battery for if using this saw.

Fast charge, long lasting battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Batteries came with drill I purchased. Battery life is excellent & charge quickly. I have had no issues with the batteries for 4+ years & will keep as long as possible.

Good battery
Thus battery is sufficient for use with the drill/driver, but when used with the jigsaw, it runs down fast. I used it with the jigsaw for several days. It would last from 30-45 minutes under heavy, constant use. I would recommend the 3 or 4 amp hour battery for more prolonged use. Otherwise, this battery is sufficient for small jobs and infrequent use.

Weak weak battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought an adapter kit. These batteries are a total rip off. I am a home owner so they get pretty light use. After about the first 10 recharges I have been lucky to get 3 or 4 pieces of wood cut. I am talking about interior pine 1 " thick x 6". I have left them on the charger for 8 hours to "balance " the cells. Tried removing them from charger when indicating charged. Totally worthless. Still love my tools, but reccommend yo buy adapter by itself and try the 6amp hour batteries. Maybe they're better.

Planned obsolence
I bought the DeWalt drill and two batteries two years ago thinking I'd be se for about ever. 18 months later and less than two hours use. Yep dead battery. Same as the cheaper Jet brand I replaced. So DeWalt you are right up there with cheap and making a living from bad rechargable batteries.
