Description
This 8000 to 12 000 OPM 20 V Max XR brushless 5 in cordless random orbital sander comes with a 2.0 Ah battery and provides the power and runtime needed to get the job done. A variable-speed dial provides ultimate speed control for a variety of projects. Also, a one-handed locking dust bag attaches securely to the sander to aid in dust collection, or the tool can be attached directly to the DWV010 or DWV012 dust collectors. A rubber over-moulded grip provides comfortable sanding, and the tool also comes with a replacement 8-hole hook-and-loop sanding pad for quick, easy paper changing. Dust-sealed switch to protect against dust ingestion for long switch life. Includes: the 20 V Max XR 5 in random orbital sander, 12 V Max lithium-ion battery, 12 V Max/20 V Max lithium-ion battery charger, carrying bag and dust bag.

Good endurance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for over a year now and have used it a lot on a remodel and other jobs. When used overhead the power stack and other light batteries are best. When used down the bigger batteries are good too. Use good sandpaper and you get good results. Just make sure you empty that dust collection good after you finish a drywall job otherwise the ghost of drywall past will haunt you (knock it around then maybe finish with a blow gun to keep it clean).

Good Sander
I purchased this for a job where having a cord was a pain, and now it's my go-to. It has a sturdy feel but not overweight. Can be used for both heavy duty and precision finesse sanding applications. The dust port isn't the best but its solid everywhere else.

Not worth it!!
I just bought this a couple weeks ago. The dust bag is stuck, will not budge at all. I have tried everything to get it off, nothing. I spent a lot of money which is now totally wasted. I am going back to my Craftsman corded sander.

Not worth the money
I used this for max 2 hours doesn't work at all now notices a rubber belt was broken on the inside of the Velcro wheel
These should last longer than 2 hours for the price

Perfect Orbital Sander
Very useful and light sander I use for almost everything! I hope one day dewalt makes a 20V Belt sander to go side by side with this baby. The orbital sander amazing

As Usual DeWalt has come up with another Winner.
Very compact and handy. Great for jobs of all sizes. Very nice for fast in-n-out jobs.
I bought the 20V router to go along with this sander. It's a must have as well. Keep the new
products coming Dewalt. One suggestion, If you make another 20V small miter saw, make it dual bevel. I don't think it would knock up the price enuff to not be worth the investment. Thanks...........kw
