No, the DCE512B is a bare tool which does not include a battery or charger.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NCR86 from Short lived I’ve had this fan since July. I’ve only used it a handful of times. I keep it inside and has never been left in the weather or abused in any way. It ran fine for the first couple months and has now started shutting off after only running for a few seconds. I tried multiple fully charged 20v batteries but that is not the issue. The fan motor is faulty and does not work properly. I have just sent in email to Dewalt to see if they can remedy this issue. Fingers crossed

It blows cold air, it keeps the bugs away, it kept me cool at a hot July All-Star game! my son and I kept taking it from each other lol because both of us needed it. I could set it beside me and it would get me and the two people beside me a nice breeze. Great fan, wonder why I didn’t buy it five years ago when my kids started playing baseball, it is a must if your kid plays a travel sport and you are outside for hours at a baseball field
