Description
Make quick, aggressive cuts with the DEWALT 20 V circular saw. Lightweight and cordless for ease of use, the lightweight circular saw runs on a powerful motor that delivers 5,150 RPM. The carbide-tipped blade circular saw cuts through wood up to 2 1/8 in T at an angle of 0° to 50°. Maintain control and a comfortable grip with its rubber over-molded handle.

Low battery life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of all my Dewalt tools I own this saw has been my least favorite. The biggest issue have with this saw iOS that it drains my battery very quickly. I can only get a few cuts before the saw starts to slow down. I am also using the correct battery size for this saw. Other than that when it is fully charged it has good power and can make good cuts.

I would buy it again - if it ever quit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just found out about DeWalt’s tool registration when I bought my newest tool, so now I’m coming back to review the great stuff I’ve had! This saw is amazing! I do Class 8 truck and bus maintenance as well as RVs. This saw was a purchase I have never regretted. It has floored many buses over the years cutting 3/4 plywood for hours on end without issue. The biggest complaint is that in order for this to really work you have to use the 5 AG battery. I bought it as a bare tool and instantly realized I needed those.
I wish I could say I babied it, but it rides around in a service truck most of the time, its been left out, dropped, knocked off of tables and dropped off a 12’3” roof without damage. It has crossed over and done many RV repairs and never missed. If it ever quits I will absolutely buy a new one - and take better care of it thr next go around.

Read the fine print
Read the fine print...the comes without the battery and charger. You have to buy that separately and it costs more than the darn saw!

Work horse!
I've had this saw for a few years now and it continues to preform like new. I live in Northern Alberta and use it 12 months a year. It's taken a lot of unintentional abuse... been dropped, kicked, lumber has fallen on it, sat in -30C for days/weeks and continues to work like a champ. The only thing that no longer works properly is the plastic safety guard and that's only because it was used to cut wood that had just been joined with construction adhesive (happens when rookies get excited) and has gotten inside past the spring and is difficult to move. Definitely could repair it but think I'll upgrade to the 570 or 573 7-1/". That's why I'm here, but had to share that you cannot go wrong with this 6-1/2" unit.

Not a bad saw for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DeWalt definitely makes nicer models, but if you're not a carpenter, save your money and get this one. I'm an electrician, and this saw serves me just fine for what little wood cutting I do.

No power
I bought this to do a framing project. It won't cut but an inch into a 2 by 6, and then it stops. Battery is still there, but the blade doesn't turn in the wood. Hoping someone can tell me I am doing something wrong. Won't cross cut or rip that 2x.
