Description
This 12-in single-bevel compound mitre saw by DEWALT is powered by a 15-amp motor to drive 4,000 rpm, delivering extended power and durability. It features a stainless-steel mitre detent plate and a cam mitre lock that provide repeatable accuracy and durability with easy adjustments. With 11 positive stops, it has tall sliding fences to support 6 1/2 in of the base moulding vertically and 5 1/4 in of crown moulding vertically nested. It has a lightweight design and a built-in handle for easy transportation. It is backed by a 90-day warranty on satisfaction, 1-year warranty on service and 3-year limited warranty.

Love it
Use this more than I thought I would for miscellaneous projects (1-2 / week). It’s definitely used for all major projects. Easy to use, never had a problem with it & it makes quick work out of what could be a very long project.

Great Saw
Great saw, but just a few improvements could be made:
1) If try to mount the clamp on the same side as the motor, you will see that the motor will hit the clamp on the way down. Unless you tilt the clamp outwards.
2) It was good thing that the saw has two mounting holes (of different size) on each side. The carriage bolt holes were too big to work with my WEN stand. But that may be an issue with my stand.

Dewalt is the best!
Need I say anything but you get a quality product from Dewalt! This is why every Carpenter is equipped with Dewalt tools, what's going to be interesting is will these professionals switch to batteries or the duel power products. I will not make a purchase unless I ask a carpenter about tool selection first even if I have to flag them down!

Life Saver
I was attempting to put ship lap up and thought I could get by with a jig saw and hand saw. Decided right then to get a miter saw and the job was completed so much quicker. It was easy to get set up and start making my cuts. I don’t know why I didn’t buy one sooner. It makes life so much easier.

Everything I expected.
