This faucet handle has gotten loose over time and the water drips. How can I tighten up?
https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/19949-SSSD-DST.html#documents-and-specs
See the maintenance & installation sheet. You will need either a 3/32" or 1/8" Allen key. Perhaps the set screw that holds the handle to the stem on the cartridge was not tightened initially. With it being loose, that allows the handle to not sit in the "off" position so you get a drip. The "off" area is not very large. There also isn't any mechanical feedback to let you know that the handle is in the "off" position.

Does Delta Savile Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet - Stainless Steel Item#: 330698445 MFR#: 19949Z-SSSD-DST SWIVEL? What degree?
Yes it does swivel - very smoothly and easily from one side of sink to the other. LOVING my new delta kitchen faucet!!!!

I bought this faucet this fall. I found it is very hard to get warm water. It is either very cold or either very hot. It is super hard to find the sweet spot to get warm water. and it is only a little spot to get warm water. somewhere is adjustable?
I followed the below steps (copied from instruction manual (Page 9) - https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/85214%20Rev%20G.pdf) and works now.
Setting The Handle Limit Stop (Optional)
This faucet includes an integrated handle limit stop that has two positions. Position
1, to the left, allows full handle motion (the full range between “all cold” to “all hot”).
The faucet is set in position 1 in the factory. Position 2, to the right, allows half of
the normal handle motion (“all cold” to “mixed hot/cold”).
The handle limit stop can be adjusted by the homeowner once the faucet is
installed. Setting the handle limit stop in position 2 may help to prevent scalding
because it limits the amount of hot water in the mix; however, this handle limit stop
will not always prevent scalding because it does not compensate for incoming
pressure or sudden water temperature changes.
To change positions of the handle limit stop: remove the handle; move the
valve stem to the all cold position so the water is on; change the position of the
handle limit stop; turn off the water; reinstall the handle.

Can the faucet handle be easily set up to swivel forward instead of backwards? The diagram in the Specifications shows the handle pivoted back towards the backsplash.
I had this water faucet. It worked great for a year but now the lever is loose and the water keeps on dripping.
Does anyone know the part number of the replacement cartridge for the Delta Saville pull down faucet ?

Solid Faucet with a Few Minor Flaws
This is a well-made, very useful faucet. I really like the pull-out nozzle with the stream/sprayer pattern toggle switch. My only complaints are:
1) It's hard to find the right temperature with the side handle; this will hopefully get more intuitive over time, though I don't think it will ever be as natural as with a top-mounted handle, but that's a trade-off issue when you have a pull-out sprayer.
2) The faucet spots up pretty easily, so you may want to spend a little more if a spotless finish is worth the extra $ for you.
Other than that, you can't go wrong with this solid Delta faucet.

Great, but not perfect
Great faucet. Installed in March, 2011. About a week ago, January, 2012, we started having problems with the flow of water through the spray head (both as a stream and as a spray). Took spary head off, cleaned and replaced. Still a problem. Called Delta. Will replace spray head free of charge, but I have to send them proof of purchase and then it will take 10 to 14 days to get the new spray head. So, for at least 2 weeks, we have very limited water flow in the kitchen. And, yes, I confirmed it is the spray head -- water pressure from the hose is fine. So, great features, but Delta makes it a lot harder to get replacement parts than Moen, who has always shipped parts in a day or two.

Terrible Faucet
I purchased the Delta Savile on 12/13/2020. After a few months, I started having some of the same problems that others have described: handle does not move smoothly and the faucet leaks if not perfectly positioned. It's impossible to regulate the flow of water because of the sticking. So I usually run at full strength and waste lots of water. My previous faucet was a dream. It was basically the same design but did not have these issues. The only reason I replaced it was the spring in the pulldown broke. I wish I had tried to see if it could be repaired. This faucet is awful! Oh, and my sister has the same faucet with the same issues.

MUST REPLACE PARTS YEARLY-LEAKS & WON'T SHUT OFF
This faucet was installed 2 years ago 02-2015, Within the first year, it would not shut off and had to replace all o-rings. Waited 8 days to get the parts. Now 09-2017, it's doing the same thing plus there is water squirting out the back of the nozzle head, around the hose connector, and it will now shut off again. We have to crawl under the sink to shut it off. Delta's Customer service again is quoting 8-10 business days for parts and refuses to replace the faucet, even with their 'LIFE TIME WARRANTY' I WILL NEVER BUT A DELTA PRODUCT AGAIN IN MY LIFETIME.

LOVE MY NEW FAUCET
I had an older sink and faucet and hated them both, so decided to get both new. Had Lowe's install both, best thing I did, because my husband hates plumbing...The Faucet looks great, I like the tall faucet and the is very user friendly. The only thing I would change is the soap dispenser, to make the neck a little longer. But, overall VERY VERY satisfied with it....Love the Brushed Nickle coating also. My Plumber said most Plumbers like Delta better than Moen because they are easier to install. Both do have a Lifetime Warranty which is nice...
Picked the higher end Faucets because I thought why go cheap just pay a higher amount and won't need to replace it for years and years...

Can't say enough!
Love, Love, LOVE! this faucet. Great water pressure, which is what I was looking for. Such a sleek and clean form, really classes up the kitchen sink. I installed this faucet, having NEVER done any plumbing at all. Always thought plumbing was for the men folk to do but my husband can't physically do knee bending stuff any more so it was either hire it done or I do it. Absolutely no problem! Definitely need two people to install. Delta has very good technical assistance, via 800 number and they really helped me with a few questions. Could not recommend this faucet enough.

Great Faucet and Great Price
Shopped on line for this faucet then bought it a a local Lowes.
Absolutely terrific faucet. Easy to install ( take your time and read and understand all the instructions.) I have a very deep sink so install should have been harder, but the tool they provide to put the main nut and brace on was perfect. You will require someone to hold the faucet from the top when you tighten it up to seat it but it took all of 3 minutes to do it.
Looks great and works great. I mounted the handle to the left as my wife and kids are lefty's.
Had a Moen that leaked, love the Delta. Now only time will tell to see how long it lasts but with a lifetime warranty on parts I feel pretty confident. I can tell you that at $198 you will find nothing even close.

My first pull down kitchen faucet - Delta Savile
This is my first pull down kitchen faucet. I had my handyman install it for me. He had a little trouble with installing it with the confines of my cabinet space under the sink. The faucet had to compete with the food disposal for space. So once in a while when I pull down the faucet it might not want to go back up all the way but if I push it a little more it will go. It is nice to be able to spray the dishes or which to just use regular water flow to fill a pot of water. I should mention it has developed one spot where it wants to spray to the side instead of straight down. I don't know if I need to clean out one of the spray holes or what. All in all I am pretty happy with the faucet.

The Faucet Whisperer
If you're going with a granite countertop, obviously you want a faucet that is functional and worthy of display, but prices can get out of control! I spent hours looking at Lowe's and at Home Dxxxt. (They've got jack, by the way, and price for this model was $10 higher.) This was a good price for a great faucet. My only wish is that it had a pause option on the retractable shower/stream head, but for the price..... It gives good pressure, looks great, installed easy. I especially like the Magna-tite feature that keeps the head in place. Have only had it for a week so hard to say whether or not it will be durable...

Delta does not disappoint.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Delta faucet to install and review. That being said I was truly impressed from start to finish. In structions were clear the installation easy and the usability great. I really like the faucets reach over the sink. Bieng able to change sprays makes dish rinsing super easy and the magnetic hold is truly strong. Delta provide a great product and I truly recommend it to anyone even a rookie diyer should have no trouble and whoever does the dishes will be very happy with it.

Delta Savile Kitchen faucet
Only complaint is pulling hose out to fill pan or bucket on counter. The arc is low, so it takes two hands to pull hose if filling pan on counter, one to hold sprayer and one to pull hose down. (Nice braided metal hose) The magnet holds sprayer great. On/off works easily. My son installed and did not have trouble, but the counter was full of parts.it took a good hour to install including the time to sort all pieces and assemble. I do like it and would buy again if model had less arc. It's all good though as it works well and I like the toggle between spray and stream, which both have great pressure. So far so good after 1 week of a lot of use.

Worth it!
My husband had only 2 opinions in our kitchen remodel- a new ceiling fan and a faucet with a pull down sprayer (he's easy to please). We ordered the first Delta brand one we found on sale online. This one is great - a soup pan fit under it easily but it also rotated - looking now I guess not all of them do? The pull down sprayer stays extended while using it, and easily returns and has a magnetic hold.

Glad I bought this faucet!!
Based on the reviews here I decided to try the Sevile. It was easy to install and the directions were clear. One drawback was if I had someone to help me by holding the faucet while I worked under the sink tightening it up, it would have cut the install time in half. But even though.. it only took an hour.
I love the design, the sprayer works great, and it seems to have improved my water pressure.
Bravo Delta... a great product!!

Another Leaky Faucet
Read several reviews for this faucet concerning leaks. Like many others I bought this as a replacement and installed it in October 2016. I noticed this past week that water drops seemed to be on the base. I wiped them up and thought it might just be splashes. Turns out the handle was leaking. As I read numerous reviews this seems to be a consistent issue. Outside of reconstructing the handle mechanism, the only solution I have is pull out a 2 month old $200 dollar faucet and install a new one. To say I am more than displeased is an under statement Delta needs to address this issue if they are going to continue selling this product as it appears I am not the only one with this experience. If I replace it, it definitely will not be with a Delta product.

I LOVE this faucet!
When we decided to update our kitchen faucet, we looked at all that were available at our local Lowes. The first one we bought, after installing just looked cheap. We decided to take it back and get this faucet. I am SO glad we did. This one is 200% better than the other one we bought. It's well made and I love the magnetic feature. I'm totally in love with it! I would have no problems recommending this faucet to anyone. My husband had no problems installing this. I helped hold it in place while tightening it down.

Best Faucet
After reading a lot of reviews on this product,I decided to purchase one at my local Lowe's store. It took longer getting the old faucet off than it did installing the new one. This faucet is so easy to install, and you don't have to buy any water supply line's.Everything you need is in the box.It sure does look good in our kitchen. And the dish soap pump and container works like a dream and looks beautiful in our kitchen.I am so happy that my local lowe's store had this product, and had a good price on it.Thank you Lowe's for this wonderful faucet.

Handyman review
This faucet is well designed from an ease of installation and use perspective. The instructions are a little cryptic but it's a very straightforward installation. Everything you need is in the package and if your used to having to use plumbers putty and sink wrenches, this is easy! Nothing else needed.
Operation is easy and great. Very good design.
The one concern - if you develop a leak, the entire faucet needs to be replaced. However, Delta provides a lifetime warranty so theoretically you won't spend another $200.

Doesn't Leak Because No Hot Water Gets Through
Original purchase (April 2018) gave almost no hot water flow. Nice Delta people sent a new cartridge, which worked wonderfully for two weeks or so before reducing the hot water flow to a trickle again. Nice Delta people sent yet another new cartridge, which upon installation has the worst hot water flow of all. Even after calmly repeating myself at least five times, nice Delta people can't seem to understand that I flushed all lines properly twice already and don't want to climb under my sink again. Unhappy customer is pretty darn sure that the Diamond Seal Technology Single Handle Cartridge is not designed properly and that it is the cause of the problems. Unhappy customer strongly urges you to avoid this faucet.

Delta Delivers Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For our kitchen remodel we chose Delta for the sink faucet. This particular model was our choice was because of the single handle on/off, which is thicker than most models and feel it offers longer lasting use and the sprayer with the 3 types of sprays and magnetic sprayer return. The return is not as automatic as I thought, however, I like the idea that the sprayer snaps back into place due to the magnet and it will keep the sprayer from sagging after years of use. You cannot go wrong with a Delta product and the Savile style is attractive, sturdy, and works well … quality counts!

Won't turn off
Price was right, look was excellent, easy and quick to install... wouldn't shut off. It is easy to install, but the documentation and instructions were terrible. Luckily I've installed quite a few faucets in the past, so it was pretty simple. Problem came when the water was turned back on... it worked great, just wouldn't shut off completely. Taking it all back apart and taking it back to Lowes. Definitely won't be buying another Delta, not because of the problem I had, but the Delta website's lack of support for dealing with a problem like this. May just have gotten a rare bad egg, but when dealing with hours of wasted time and hassling with returning it, I'll be trying another brand.

SO FRUSTRATING!
We have had this faucet for less than a week and have had issues since day one. In order to turn it off you have to get the handle in EXACTLY the right position or it leaks. We thought that we would get used to it but it still takes 4 or 5 tries to turn it off every time and even still we would come home from work to find the the faucet had been dripping all day. I am so disappointed because I did a lot of research before buying and the reviews looked so promising. Maybe we just got a bad one?? I really hope Lowes will give us a refund.

Best Versatile Faucet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked it because of it’s versatility and it’s distinctive appearance. The faucet is very versatile by having the 3 way spray nozzle and the soap dispenser is a plus so you don’t have to cover the old spray nozzle hole and yes it still utilizes all holes in sink. The installation was very easy to perform and the instruction was easy to follow the only tools I had to supply was 2 crescent wrench to get my water lines off and a set of Channel Lock to loosen trim ring. The hardest part was taking my old faucet out and installing only took 30 min. My wife loves it.

Absolutely love this faucet
I installed this SS faucet & soap dispenser last week in well under one hour without any problems. One thing I did first was lay out all the pieces and then went thru the instructions to get a visual of the install. It was quite simple. I used the single hole install as it was going thru the hole in my granite countertop & the soap dispenser went into it's own smaller hole. The faucet is easy to use & we love the magnetic lock on the spray head. That was the main reason we bought this faucet over a similar Moen. The lifetime warranty & the satin finish that doesn't show any fingerprints or water spots were also major features that influenced our decision. The installation wrenches that were included worked perfectly as well. The height of the faucet allows us to fill a large pot of water by placing it on the countertop and swinging the arm over it as opposed to having to put the pot in the sink. This is a plus when there are dishes or glasses in the sink. All in all, we are 100% satisfied with this faucet..

I wish I had read all the reviews.....
I purchased this faucet because the one we had leaked. I read a lot of the good reviews, unfortunately, I should have started with the bad ones. I am very unhappy with this purchase because when you turn the water off, if you don't get the handle back a certain way, the faucet leaks. Another thing I don't like is that sometimes water leaks from the handle and each time you turn the water off, if your hands are wet it makes a mess on the stainless steel below the handle. If I had not had to pay someone to install the faucet, I would take it out and return it. In hindsight, I should have gotten a faucet with a handle that pulled down instead of out. I'm not much better off than I was with my old faucet.....extremely disappointed!

This faucet is very nice. We have been enjoying it for about 4 to 5 months now. It takes a while getting used the water lever, our is mounted on the left side. We love the pull down function as it makes things simpler when using. Also, the magnetic connection holds true every time. The water pressure is outstanding. We actually had to partially close the hot & cold water valves under the sink to help regulate the water flow we found desirable.

GREAT REPLACEMENT FAUCET!!
My wife and I chose this faucet because after researching it online we liked the features and found it had a good feel in the store. I had put off changing out the old Moen faucet for some time now because I knew it would be tricky getting it out after 9 years. Well it was worse than tricky. The space is so confined I ended up using my reciprocating saw to cut it out. It really is easier if you are changing out the sink too. Installing the new faucet was easy.
This faucet is smooth and we love the features especially the switch for the two modes. It matches the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Hope it lasts very long.

Great product and service
Purchased for design and ease of use, brand was secondary. Within 6 months the black plastic trigger began to have a slight issue switching from spray to stream. The regular stream of water would leak/drip from the spray holes. After about 3 months of this occurring, I finally called Delta. The Delta rep apologized and mailed out a new head with hose for our faucet. That is all I wanted. A simple, easy, time saving solution to the problem. Thank you, Delta.
It should be noted that this is a brushed nickel finish. It is not a bright stainless steel like Delta's new Arctic finish.

Love it
The faucets appearance stands out above other faucets. Functionally it works great. The pressure is wonderful with the sprayer. The sprayer extends with ease and returns to normal position with no problem because of the magnet that holds it in its resting position. The magnet is stronger than you would expect for a faucet. The handle on the right takes some getting used to.

After living with cheaper faucets for years I decided to splurge...there is a definite difference between this and the lower priced faucets. Very well made. Quality materials throughout. The two settings (stream & spray) are ideal. The best part is the magnetic spray head. A weight hanging on the line helps the spray head retract and the magnet holds it secure. The handle can be installed to the left as well. The built-in PEX lines provide plenty of length to reach the valves w/o additional lines. Very pleased!

Plastic line pulled out of the water connection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This faucet was a part of a major kitchen remodel done by a professional contractor. The work was finished in early May 2018. In early August 2018 we were sitting in the family room and heard what sounded like static on our TV. Upon investigating we found the factory connection in the faucet had pulled/popped out of the water line flooding our new kitchen! The contractor returned the next day with water remediation equipment and said he had never seen this happen but he hated the cheep plastic lines in the faucet. He much preferred braided lines or copper which make a solid connection to the water lines.
You can see the line at the drain area without the grey plastic hose which is off to the right. The nut on the water line was tight and took a wrench to loosen. The cold water line nut is also tight. I'm now worried that this will happen in the future. I'm going to look for a better faucet with a different factory lines.
