It maintains a balanced pressure of hot and cold water. This cartridge assembly is ideal for DELTA Monitor 1300 and 1400 series bathtubs and showers.

How can I get a replacement cartridge?
Home Depot told me I have to contact Delta to get a free replacement. Is that true? How can I get one to help stop the leak in the shower?

Great Service!
I went onto the website to inquire about the part that I needed to replace regarding my bathtub/shower issue. I have a leaking tub faucet. I swapped out the cartridge after much research to find the correct one and the good news is it no longer leaks but the bad news is that now I have minimal water flow. Im not sure if that is an installation error or possibly the wrong cartridge??

No nonsense warranty replacement
I phoned to advise that my faucet was leaking but couldn't get the cartridge out as it had corroded in. The very helpful agent advised me to soak in vinegar / CLR which I did for a while before using a strap wrench to carefully getting the ring unscrewed and replaced the cartridge and ring sent by expedited mail

Buy this as it is a genuine delta cartridge.
I bought this because this is the genuine Delta product. Even though it is double the price than Moen, it carries life time replacement warranty. In last couple of years I replaced 4 or 5 Moen cartridges and wasted so much time and money.
