Description

Approved for 95% efficient protection against non-oil particulates. Also for welding on aluminium or steel where a half-mask of full-face respirator is not required. Foam nose cushion and adjustable nose clip provide the industry accepted N95 disposable respirator. Does not contain latex rubber. NIOSH approved.

They are NIOSH-approved, which means they have been tested by the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health in the US. They have a TC number, which means they have been Tested and Certified by NIOSH. The brand and model appear on the CDC's (Center for Disease Control) approved list of N95 masks - you can go to the actual CDC website to confirm. I checked myself that this mask passes all 3 criteria. The mask fits well. I'm not crazy about the foam texture, but that is just a personal preference - it makes no difference to the effectiveness. These are a godsend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by rockin’ from Not the same as pictured on Rona website I bought these masks because the two straps are made from one continuous, adjustable strap (you can see the adjuster at the bottom in the photo). What I received, however, were masks that have two straps stapled onto the mask with no way to adjust them short of taking one staple from each strap, shortening the strap and re-stapling them back on. The actual mask is fine, I like the foam cushioning and seal, but the strap left me disappointed in this purchase. I plan to return them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Metrodraft from Nice Masks I have used N95 masks for years as I work in construction. These are really good. They're firm and the elastic creates a tight seal around the face. Now I know most people are using them against covid now and they would work great for that as well.

But the ones sent do not have the adjustable strap as pictured - they have the yellow rubber straps that are stapled on. If you don't care about the strap, then they are totally fine, but beware if you need the adjustable strap for longer or more comfortable wear. (Customer service were super helpful in resolving my complaint though, so thanks to them!)

My only disappointment was that the straps were not adjustable as they appeared in the description and picture. They are a secure fit and seem sturdy, but as anyone will tell you, N95 masks fit very snuggly and I was hoping for the adjustable strap to make putting one on less of struggle over my long hair style
