Description

The KWIK SEAL(R) kitchen and bathroom caulk by DAP(R) is an easy-to-use, all-purpose adhesive sealant. Ideal for caulking and sealing in the bathroom and kitchen, it bonds like a glue and seals like a caulk. It is specially formulated to provide a watertight seal around tubs, sinks, showers and countertops. Once cured, it is mold and mildew-resistant. It offers excellent adhesion, flexibility and durability. This sealant is easy to apply and dries without tack within 15 minutes. This product is ideal for wet and damp areas. It is paintable with either latex or oil-based paint and provides easy water and soap clean-up. Protected against abrasive chemicals, KWIK SEAL(R) is cracking, chalking and shrinking-resistant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by karenvr from Worst product ever I bought this to recaulk my shower. Cleaned away every bit of the old caulk. Dried the area completely. Used this to caulk the area, waited 72 for it to cure and the first time we used the shower it turned to milky putty and detached itself from the shower. First and last time I will ever use this product. Definitely going to use another brand when I redo this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dynn13 from waterproof? false Tried this to re-caulk my bathtub- after applying this on (after removing old caulking- no water whatsoever) gave it a whole 3 days to cure. Now i'm trying to take a bath- and just from the humid from tub water making the caulking fall apart. Will never use/recommend this product ever. Obviously the responses from the company here suggests it's the consumer's fault. Don't even bother posting the same response to my review. I haven't got time to waste calling you and tell you what you ask- Your product sucks and reviews tell so!

Rated 1 out of 5 by BigCaulkGuy from Washed Away I applied this to the corners of my tub which have tiled walls. It looked fine but dried hard as if it was grout. I let it cure for 48 hours. After the second shower the Caulk softened to what felt almost like toothpaste. Misleading product and obviously it is not meant for bath and kitchen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disgusted customer from Garbage product.... I purchased this caulk about a week ago. I used it around my bathtub. It was easy to apply and it looked great. BUT... after giving it three days to dry completely I started showering in my bathtub again. The caulk liquified and started coming apart bit by bit. It looked like toothpaste running down the sides of my tub. Within only a few days the caulk that remains is steadily cracking. Also, so much of the caulk has washed down the drain that my bathtub drain pipe is now plugging. Hopefully, Drain-o will clear my clogged drain. Consumers beware... this product is total garbage.

Anyway, this adhesive caulk is easy to apply but shortly after proper 3-day curing time it started cracking. Within a week it cracked pretty much everywhere it had been applied. Few dollars and an hour of time went to waste. Honestly, Lowe's should discontinue this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by len-69 from Great as a glue! I didn't use it as caulking exactly, but to glue down a section of floating wood floor. I had tried wood glue but it just popped off, that wood flooring backing is very slippery! I first tried a small sample piece, and the next day it would NOT come off! I had to destroy it with a claw hammer getting it off! This stuff is fantastic as a glue!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Caulk review from Not worth to buy I bought this last week and after applied on bath tub keep it for 2 days to dry. Still everything coming off and didn't even last a week. The 100% waterproof is lie. Don't spend money on this. Not worth it.
