DAP® 3.0(TM) is an advanced self-leveling concrete and mortar sealant that requires no tooling, making it ideal for filling cracks and gaps in horizontal surfaces. It withstands foot & vehicle traffic after being fully cured. In addition, it can be applied in all weather and below freezing temperature applications. It won't crack or shrink while providing excellent adhesion, flexibility and durability for a permanent waterproof seal. It can be exposed to water and moisture after only 3 hours without washing out rather than the 24-36 hour waiting period other caulks and sealants may require. It is paintable, low odour and VOC compliant. Backed by a lifetime guarantee. ASTM C920 Type S grade P Class 12.5

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bedford from Super product for sealing cracks in concrete The concrete driveway is 25 years old and was developing cracks. The cracks were a concern because the driveway is frozen five months of the year in Alberta. Water could get into the cracks and destroy the driveway in freeze-thaw cycles that break up the concrete. This sealant was applied as a thin line on the cracks. Then the sealant was spread with a four inch putty or repairing knife to level it out and prevent ridges forming when the sealant cured and hardened. Then sand was applied to the sealant for cosmetic and traction purposes. The sand stuck immediately. Twenty-four hours later the sand and the thin band of sealant had hardened and completely sealed the concrete in the path of the crack. The use of polymeric sand is recommended because it will be a good color match and also has has binding properties. This is not the first product of this type that we have used for sealing cracks in concrete, but is far superior to our earlier experiences. This product would also be excellent for cracks in concrete floors such as in a garage.

Pour la pose, couper le bout le plus exactement possible de la largeur des petites "fentes", car cela facilite "l'injection". Après la pose, avant que le scellant soit sèche, mais avec un léger bourrelet, il est alors possible "d'équaliser" la surface avec un grattoir de peintre (style 5 dans 1, etc.)
