DAP(R) 3.0(TM) is an advanced, low-VOC kitchen, bath and plumbing adhesive caulk specially formulated with Kwik Dry(R) Technology allowing it to be exposed to water after only 30 minutes without washing out rather than the 24 to 36-hour waiting period other caulks and sealants may require. It will not crack or shrink, and it provides excellent adhesion, flexibility and durability for a permanent waterproof seal. Microban(R) antimicrobial product protection fights the growth of stain as well as odour-causing mold and mildew on the caulk. This means that the bead of caulk will be easier to keep clean and will stay cleaner longer. This paintable sealant is backed by a lifetime guarantee.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LoranC from Hard to work with It says clean up with mineral spirits later says soap and water, why. Hard to read the print poor color choices and font size. I found it thicker than normal other silicone bath caulks. Did nor spread after application very easily. I like it can be painted but earlier comments disappointed in application.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Darwin from May not be appropriate for polystyrene. DAP 3.0 was one of the recommended caulks for a polystyrene shower wall kit. Since the other recommended caulks weren't locally available, I went with the DAP and I had considerable difficulty with it. It would barely stick to the polystyrene. Usually, caulk goes on to a surface and stays there. In this case, it wouldn't bond and it was very difficult to work it into the joints. Then, cleanup was a big problem. Since it was reluctant to stick, any disruption of the surface would tend to bring it away from the material. And cleanup, per the instructions I saw, required mineral spirits, rather than water. That's not a plus. I'd avoid this for polystyrene but it may work well for other surfaces. I'm giving it a 3. I"m going to have to say I would not recommend it because there's no option for "recommend with caution."

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dricks2 from Sealed my brand new Delta tub and 3 piece surround Used to seal new tub and surround. Difficult to squeeze from chalk gun. Needed a lot of pressure, tried 2 different guns. Easy to tool. Leaves a nice line. Dries to a lovely appearance. Water proof in 30 minutes. Cured in 24 hours. Would recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bassetsrule from A nice product that has a clean line [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this product as sealant in shower walls wherein we had to dig the old sealant out because it was old, dirty and peeling. This DAP product flowed nicely out of the tube and stuck fast to the grout lines. Smoothing out with the index finger was pretty easy. The product was not sticky or thick; it went on easily but wasn't "drippy" or watery, that might indicate a subpar product. It dried relatively quickly and the job was done. I would look for this product and purchase it. Thanks for sending to me to try.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jay from Turned yellow after 6 months I used DAP 3.0 Kitchen & Bath (crystal clear) to caulk the edges of my kitchen counter about four months ago. I just noticed it started to turn yellow. Unfortunately I'm going to have to remove this and use a better product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dave The Carpenter from Product does yellow over time but works great as an adhesive The clear product does yellow very badly but this product works unbelievable as an adhesive. I use it on a daily basis for gluing stainless steel to plywood. If you try to remove the stainless it will take the wood with it. I trust it to hold better than Loctite PL Premium Maxx adhesive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Guy who NEVER complains from Bad Product I almost broke my caulking gun trying to get this product out of the tube. Now I'm around the 28 hour mark and it's still tacky. Unacceptable. If it doesn't set it'll have to be removed and replaced. Again. Totally unacceptable. NOT HAPPY.
