Description

Compact and simple to use, this lawn tractor is a great choice for maintaining smaller yards. It fits easily in your garage or storage area without taking up too much space, and it has a dependable 382 cc PowerMore engine that provides lasting performance and convenient reverse mowing action. The tractor has a manual PTO and six speeds. The cutting deck makes a 3-in wide cut for quick and easy mowing, so you can spend more time relaxing and enjoying your summer and less time maintaining your yard. Front 13-in tires and rear 16-in tires ensure it moves over terrain easily. The multi-position seat and telescoping steering wheel provide adjustable comfort while you work. This product is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.

This 30 inch compact rider is ideal for larger residential properties or corner lots where a walk-behind mower is just too small

Thank you for your question. This model features our patented 6 speed Shift-on-the-Go CVT belt transmatic drive. You can cycle up through the 6 speeds with no stopping or clutching required. To slow for obstacles, change to lower gear or direction changes, press the clutch/brake to reduce speed and then release to resume the selected speed - just like cruise control.

Is the transmission a hydrastatic transmission

Thank you for your question. If the battery is not put into service before the date label it is recommended to trickle-charge it first using an automotive style 12V charger. If replacing consider a battery with minimum 225 CCA. The original equipment battery is part number 925-1707D available at www.cubcadet.ca

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dan Roy from Worse mower I ever bought The steering locks with the wheels turned and have to back up to straighten it out . Cub cadet had a modification kit and was repaired . After a week of use weird noises came from the deck when blades engaged. Has to warm up for 5 minutes before I can engaged the blades or it will sputer . Overall very disappointed. Do not recommend this mower .

I am a senior and find it easy to use. The only suggestion would be to smooth the action so that when you pull away it doesn't jump especially in a tight area.

Cuts even and mulches the grass better than my John Deere E180 however, is a but finicky. Steering is not smooth, won’t run after washing and I have had problems engaging the mower blade. I would recommend buying from a dealership and not a box store. I needed warranty on the mower blade issue and had problems getting directions from the box store where I bought it.

Stupid decision on someone's part. Clutch has very short travel and it hard to depress fully. Brake pedal is too short and very slippery. My foot slips off too easily.
