It is a corded trimmer...but has more power because of this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lorne99 from cuts very well but too heavy I hsve had many corded Black and Decker trimmers over the years and decided to try this Craftsman. Just found out that it is now owned by Black and Decker. This trimmer cuts very well, the few inches of saw are not needed and do not work well. The biggest negative is that it is too heavy and without a continuous power on very unwieldy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sirtrimsalot from Works well I have used this 4 times now and it has performed very well. Cuts branches to at least 5/8" and only seems to be limited by the depth of the blades. The rotating handle which at first I thought to be a gimmic has turned out to be very handy. All in all, well worth the price.
