This Radio is so versatile, I brought it out for a barbecue and everyone loved the sound quality and the ability to charge devices on there. This radio is a must I have nothing but positive things about it the only con for me is the weight of it but for something to be dust free, waterproof, versatile and all I expect it to have a little weight.

I have used this radio at my woodshop and back at the park playing basketball. The sound this thing puts out is spectacular. With the exception of a few places the am/fm radio comes in crystal clear. It has worked flawless with all of my Bluetooth devices. I tried to think of a change or dislike I had about this radio and really I couldn't come up with anything. The attached battery pack charger was a huge bonus and the battery had plenty of life to power the radio for many hours. Don't pass this radio up!

Its durable and definitely made to last. The craftsmanship (pun intended) on thos radio is of amazing quality. Its VERY loud with very little to non existent static. I found it very easy to connect my bluetooth and listen to Pandora on my cell phone. The radio lasts my entire 8 hour work shift and hasnt died on me yet. I look forward to using this product for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Danielle14820 from Heavy duty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a heavy duty radio with the option of useing a battery or just plugging it into the outlit its says it's about 20lbs but it's not even 20lbs its lighter I'd sa gag about 10lbs at most.. the speakers are nice and loud and it's very easy to use you have the option of pairing it to a device that's bluetooth compatible or useing just the Am/FM function it has a built in antenna for the am/FM radio.theres also a little spot on the top under the aria that says case to plug your phone in and charge it you can set ur ph ok ne down u there and then close it back up and your phone will be protected I recommend getting this..

I also like the fact that it charges the battery and then the radio can run off the battery for a long time. I have had it playing off the battery for at least 5 or 6 hours and it still had plenty of time left on a 4 ah battery. They sound is great as well. Controls are simple and easy to use with gloves on. The only issue I had was over the air radio station didn’t come in super clear. I live out in the country though and don’t listen to the radio much anyway so no big deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by kwabina from Great Sound but Bluetooth intermittent issues. This thing sounds great. It sounds better than I expected actually. But it has a bit of bluetooth issue. It disconnects every time I change albums (using YouTube Music). Occasional disconnects there as well. I also have been playing around with the Android app. I think there is an issue in the update section of the app. I sent a support inquiry about that but I would like it fixed fast. I'm sure the Bluetooth issue could be resolved with a software update (I'm sure it's just checking too often or not often enough for an active connection). Otherwise, the app can turn the system on and off easily. It has 2 radio selection management areas. Which is nice if you want more than 12 presets. I like that you can manage the presets in the app too. Overall, good system. A couple of software bugs to work out. Hope those get dealt with in short order. Oh, and it's ruggedized really well.

The sound is absolutely amazing. I also love that it has to many features, like Bluetooth, FM radio, Aux and USB. I love that it has a screen on it to tell you which song is playing. The battery life is phenomenal! It’s nice that you have the battery in it so it can be wireless or it can be plugged in to charge. The touch screen is a nice feature and I love how loud the radio gets. This product is one of the best on the market. I would absolutely recommend this product!

One of the first selling points for this was that it used batteries and charger that I already had for my drill. Then i read the positive reviews. Also, there happened to be a sale on this and the larger Ah Batteries so that sealed the deal. It fills up a room, back deck or campsite with good sound. The bass is very good, kinda surprised me, actually.

Rated 3 out of 5 by unk1 from Unfortunately I got a Lemon I bought this in april and was immediately impressed with the sound quality using the AUX input with a hi-res digital audio player.Then I noticed a continuous intermittent faint clicking noise so I checked the radio and found the touchscreen buttons were randomly illuminating with the music,so I shut off the system beep setting.Then I tried to use the radio in FM mode and the radio went crazy randomly changing the radio station and all of the settings because of the touchscreen malfunctioning.So I only use the radio in AUX mode while the touchscreen is off after reducing the volume to zero and carefully making my settings(after multiple attempts)and switching back to AUX.Its very aggravating not being able to make any adjustments to my settings and not being able to use FM.

The versastack radio is an excellent buy! It has 12 stations you can preset, which is more than enough. The bluetooth connectivity is simple, and you have the added bonus of being able to connect via aux or plugging in your phone cord and using the charging port! The only complaint I have is the storage/battery compartment door is hard to close. The way this product is built makes it seem virtually indestructible!

I didn't purchase this for the job site but I purchased this and the versastack system for other reasons and it works for what I needed. The Bluetooth for connecting to your phone to play music from your phone (or YouTube via your phone) requires the Craftsman radio app to be able to do this. The Base Treble and midrange are all adjustable via the settings on the radio and the screen is touch sensitive. The screen also flips around base on the radio's orientation.

Unboxed the Versastack Radio and Charger is a good looking radio and is a bit heavy at 13.2 pounds but built to be very durable, each corner has a rubber cushion designed to protect the unit from falls or drops, and also keeps it off of the ground, protecting it from spills. The feet are also used to stack it to other VersaStack products. To protect it even more it is weather and dust resistant. This unit may have been built for durability but I was very impressed when I turned it on for the first time. The 40 Watts powering the 4 full range speakers, 1 subwoofer and 1 assisted bass resonator give this radio quality sound not found in other work site radios. The antenna is internal, so no chance of breaking it. There are 2 ways to scan stations for saving to one of the 12 saved presets, you can use Auto Scan or use a Manual Scan. I seemed to pick up a few more stations using the Manual Scan. The Connect Radio has a very nice full color user interface used for all aspects of operating this radio. The screen has on screen touch buttons and it orientates itself depending on which way the radio is placed, using the touch buttons you can get to all settings, including audio source Bluetooth, FM or AUX, and all sound settings. When using the 20v max lithium battery it will also register battery strength on the interface. The radio can also be controlled by your phone using the free Craftsman Radio App for Android and iOS. I downloaded the App to my Android and connected to the radio via Bluetooth in less than a minute, and up to six devices can be paired. The app is real user friendly. The box states the Bluetooth streaming range is up to a 100ft, I did not test the 100ft range but I would say close to 50ft with no issues at all and I love the fact that you can stream Pandora & Spotify. A very large multipurpose storage compartment is conveniently located right on the front and is dust and water resistant. This compartment houses the built in 20v battery charger and the AC adapter, along with a place for your phone and a USB charging station and AUX plug. If you plug in the AC adaptor with the battery in the charger the battery will charge to 100%. I used only the battery in my evaluation and it lasted approximately 7 hours each time. This is the first Craftsman VersaStack product I own, and it won’t be the last, it is a great addition to my shop and see how it would be perfect in any work site.

Rated 2 out of 5 by sparky from not sure yet Purchased this radio a few weeks ago and everything was fine until a 30° morning. Radio was plugged in but wouldn't register the charger. The battery that was in the radio was fully charged as well. None of the lights on the screen would come on. The power button did nothing. Could never turn the radio on until it warmed up a few hours later. As a "jobsite radio" I would expect it to operate at or slightly below freezing temperatures with no problems. Milwaukee and DeWalt have never had that problem. Will update review if it was just a fluke morning.

Crowd pleaser, used it for my pool parties, barbecues, and just while relaxing outside. Would buy again 10x. Very loud and durable, packs a big punch. Will not disappoint. Storage compartment might be too small for large cased iPhone XR’s and up but Bluetooth works good, although FM reception can be spotty.

Bluetooth and the app work well but but but and this would be the only reason I would not buy this. The only music you can listen to is threw the craftsman app that is already on the phone. No pandora no google music or Apple Music or amazon music. Only what is on the stored phone. To me this is a very big waste of quality sound equiptment. Craftsman fix this it’s easy.

I was very excited to give it a try. We planned on keeping it in our garage, but we have enjoyed it so much we have used it outdoors during cookouts and pool parties. This radio is very durable and easy to use. It sounds great and sounds great loud as well. You can program up to 12 radio stations for one push use. It is very easy to connect to Bluetooth or to use with aux cord. The battery life is great as well lasting over 9 hours. It also comes with a power cord if your battery happens to be dead. Another great feature is the ability to charge cell phones and tablets off to the radio using the battery. This came in handy during a brief power outage we had due to a storm. Overall this product is sleek and stylish while remaining rugged. It is not a radio you are afraid to take on the go. To the job site, the beach, or wherever you may need it, the Craftsman versastack provides a lot of bang for your buck.
