Great Deal on some nice power tools
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a home owner w/o any power tools experience (save for a drill). So this is my first set. I heard Dewalt was better but I’m confident that Craftsman will suit my needs best since I’m not a professional. I haven’t used them yet. overall I’m impressed; particularly with the 3 yr warranty. (2yr on the batteries). I got these to help me upgrade my enclosed trailer with a window A/C, cabinets, and a countertop. After that, I hope I’ll get more handy at home. It came with a large and small case. My picture shows how all the tools fit on the bottom drawer of my Craftsman tool cabinet.

Weak batteries and drill head wobbles.
So I just got these tools as my other surprisingly decent porter cable combo had “disappeared”. I will say for the price you get a lot accessories. I am a home DIY and light user which is where I would categorize these tools. The drill head became wobbly after just a couple uses and the batteries dies extremely fast. I would at least recommend aftermarket or larger battery packs. The batteries depending on load only last an hour or less in my experience. I am going to return the whole kit though I love alll the accessories and maybe go with with dewalt or Bosch. Craftsman isn’t what it used to be as far as quality goes.

Very underwhelming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I bought this set last year April 2020, by February of 2021 the sander which we used the least, the impact drill and the multi tool have all went out on us. Come to find out after doing research the old Sears craftsman I grew up with has been bought out by black and decker! The batteries get hot way too fast, they don’t stay charged, the circular saw drains the battery after about 5 mins, the jigsaw is worthless it’s so weak it barely can be called a saw our tool bag ripped the day we got it and no the blades were not on it to cause the rip. I highly do not recommend.

Much Better Than Expected
I've owned the 19.2 volt tools for years and planned to upgrade to another brand, but after seeing these tools in the store and now having used them on several projects I'm glad I purchased the 8 pc combo set. The drill and driver work much better than my old ones and the sander is the best I've ever used. The battery life is great. I can't wait to see what else Craftsman adds to the line.

Craftsman 20v tool kit review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the tools work great. Batteries don’t seem to hold a charge for as long as I’d like, but they sell after market 4AH batteries that I will most likely get in the future. A dual charging station and more batteries would be a great addition.
I thought the light was a waste of space in the tool kit until I had was adding in an additional outlet to the middle of a run in the dark.
By far my favorite tool is the random orbit sander. It’s great to be able to walk around the project or work bench without getting tangled up in an extension cord.
I ripped out the wall around my fireplace and am redoing it with the flat screen floating above it. I needed and used every single tool in the kit.

Great combo set! Would recommend.
Can not believe I went this long on corded tools. Bought as a gift from my wife. I guess she got tired of me complaining about getting wrapped up in extension cords. This set has been a game changer for myself as a wood worker. All made of what I'd consider as good quality materials for what they are meant to be used for. Batteries held up well on most of these tools other than the orbital sander, tends to wipe it out quicker when in constant use. May not be suitable for heavy sanding needs, but definitely for light finishing work. Everything else included exceeded my expectations. I'd recomend to any handyman whole loves the craftsman brand or looking to switch.

Best kit in years
I bought this at Lowes over the Christmas season to help me do remodeling on my home. I am amazed at the quality of the tools. They are de-walt/Ridgid level quality with a great feel and some very solid innovative features. For example on the oscillating tool there is a trigger release on the bald for super quick changes. The fast charger has a built in heat sensor so it doesn't charge the battery until it is cool enough. The three year warranty is a nice plus as well. The circular saw is a vast improvement over the C3 series one.

good value for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a combo set of cordless tools to reduce my need to have 5 different batteries and chargers, none of which was compatible with each other. This set fits the bill. Comes with two chargers that already had enough juice that I could test all the tools right away and make sure they worked. The charges last a long time, the charger is not blinding fast like the Toshiba drill I have but good enough. I would have liked to have a laser light on the circular saw like I have on my corded saw but it is good enough. I have used all the tools now and they all seem like good quality. Only question for me is if they will stand up to the test of time, so far so good.
