Hi how deep is the bottom drawer? That info would be helpful if listed with the product description? The box might work for me if I knew how deep the drawer was. Thank you

Nice Tool Cabinet and Lots of Room
I've wanted a tool cabinet for years to go with my older style Craftsman tool box. I purchased this online and it was ready for pickup in just an hour, and thank you to the associate who helped me load it into the car. I assembled it the next day. I wish the instructions that were included actually applied to this cabinet, as there were two pieces that weren't illustrated, and I presumed they were to be installed between the casters and the bottom of the cabinet to brace it. The drawers slide out smoothly, and when you push them back in, they'll close themselves when you get them about 4" from fully closed. Prevents getting caught accidentally.

Exactly what I need
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool cabinet is exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Easy to assemble which was only attaching the wheels and handle. I have enjoyed using it and will enjoy it more when I remember what I put in each drawer so I don't have to check several before I find the item I am looking for. Bad as my memory is I may have to label the drawers.
I read a comment about a problem getting the stickers off. I did not have any problem once I got it started. It then pulled off very easily with no residue left behind. Also, the reported issues with the wheels have not been a problem either. I don't roll it around a lot, but the times I have it moves fine.

High Quality-Super Heavy Duty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd steel tool cabinet and I rate it much higher than my first. The cabinet is very well made, the paint job and quality of assembly is really top notch. Mobility is very good, I would suggest making both sets of wheels steerable, in tight spots it is a bit hard to maneuver. Over all I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend this to anyone interested in a tool cabinet.

Terrible casters!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would rate this 4 out of 5 stars, but I have to deduct a full star for the terrible casters! The casters on mine are pretty much unusable...They just scrape across the floor and won't hardly swivel or turn at all. I won't be moving this much, but even an occasional move of the toolbox is a bad idea with these casters. I really like the toolbox other than the casters. I need to figure out a way to replace them with something better. I don't understand why they would put such bad casters on an otherwise good toolbox? other than that, it works great for the DIY user and semi pro. Drawers work good and smooth and seems sturdy. I am just trying to decide if I want to go through the trouble of returning this due the casters or just add some better ones myself....

Bad swivel casters otherwise good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wheel casters wouldn't swivel the bearings were tight and it's a pressed fitting so you can't adjust it. instead of turning, the wheels would just scrape across the floor. I bought a set of 4 swivel casters with brakes and bolted them on with 5/16 bolts and lock washers. It's awesome now.

Craftsman 2000 Series Tool Cabinet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my 30 year old Craftsman tool cabinet due to it getting damaged (that is another story) and decided to replace it with this tool cabinet. It is really amazing to see how advanced their cabinets have become. The one thing that sticks out are the easy close drawers. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this cabinet. You at least owe it to yourself to check out their tool cabinets if you are looking for one. By the way, this cabinet is made in the USA!

Craftsman in Name Only
This is a far cry from my the Craftsman quality that my Father or Grandfather had the pleasure to own.
- The castor wheels are poor quality and have tons of side-to-side play in the bearing and wheel mount. Plan on replacing if you want the tool chest to stay in one place when you open a drawer. Or just remove them as I did.
- Drawer open and close effort is inconsistent (even unloaded)
- Attachement point for handle is thin gauge steel and easy to strip when tightening
For the price, this unit is “ok”. Buying an older, used unit would be a better choice for me.

Well built, good price per cubic inch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 3 while on sale. All drawers work well. No Damage. Well packaged with foam. I like the drawer depth variety on these 5 drawer models. You get the big 9.5 inch for big power tools. A 6.4, a 4.1, & 2 3.1. This gives a good variety of sizes. Sheet metal is decent thickness.
Cons: The cabinet like most is only drilled for the handle on one side. I'm putting 2 of them under a bench so I switched the handle on 1 to the other side. As far as the casters go, I'm not sure exactly what the problem is. I think because of the closeness of the wheels on these small cabinets & the bottom of cab might not be perfectly flat, the toolbox tilters a little bit corner to corner, that one of the swivel casters can't make good contact with the floor & doesn't swivel when the other does. One turns around but other doesn't so they don't turn in unison, so one ends up being dragged sideways. Overall this is a minor issue for me. I'm replacing the casters on two of them with shorter ones to fit under a bench better. I still really like the cabinets. Lowes's sale price was great as well.
