HORRIBLE experience with this thing
I purchased a T140 in 2014 and ran it until 2023, when I sold it and bought this new model. Manufacturing has been outsourced, and the mowers are now garbage. Mine arrived with a bad spark plug and a battery that doesnt hold a charge - I have to keep it on a charger just to get it started. Craftsman warranty told me they don't cover batteries or spark plugs. In October, less than three months after purchase, the engine began blew and began smoking and FIRE shot out the hood vent while I was mowing. Rona won't take it back and the only licenced Craftsman dealer told me they've moved on to winter products and asked me to hang on to it until spring.
HORRIBLE mower, HORRIBLE customer service from Rona, Craftsman, and their licenced dealer. Ridiculous all around. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

Good dependable ride on mower

We have and had other garden, garage and other power tools from craftsman - lawn mower/s, power drill/s, power saws, etc - even garage cabinets. Craftsman is a brand we can trust. We were excited to get the Craftsman T140 18.5-HP Hydrostatic 46-in Riding Lawn Mower. We are blessed to have a home with a very big backyard, however, with that comes a lot of grass to maintain. For us, getting older, it becomes a little bit challenging especially during under the Texas summer heat. Having the Craftsman T140 18.5-HP Hydrostatic 46-in Riding Lawn Mower was a real relief. The Craftsman T140 18.5-HP Hydrostatic 46-in Riding Lawn Mower is very easy to operate -very easy to drive. After using the Craftsman T140 18.5-HP Hydrostatic 46-in Riding Lawn Mower for almost a month, we are shopping for upgrade kits that will help in other areas of lawn maintenance - mulching, aeration etc. The seat is comfortable, however, I am looking to upgrade it to add some cushioning. Definitely will upgrade to get a canopy.

Great mower!!

The delivery was scheduled and arrived during the arranged time.The product is delivered in a crate on top of a pallet and the mower has strips of foam covering it to prevent it from being scratched.
The mower arrives assembled, however the seat and steering wheel need to be attached. The steering wheel pops into the steering column and has one bolt that is added and tightened. The seat pops in using industrial clips. Once those two parts you just need to connect the battery and it's ready to go.
The mower comes with oil. Just add gas and your ready to go. The mower rides smooth, provides an even cut, and has a phenomenal turn radius for the size.
Loving my new mower!!

Love!!!

Our old mower was not as wide as this one but it was a change for the better. I really don’t have any complaints about this mower. It is a good quality mower and I plan to have it for a long time.

Solid lawnmower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a nice mower. The 18.5 hp motor is pretty powerful. Quite a step up from my old riding mower. The deck is 46" wide so take some measurements. I had to modify the gate into my back yard so I could fit the mower through, but holy smokes does it mow a 1/4 of an acre fast. The thing has a really tight turning radius too

Ready for summer!

It was delivered in a well protected crate and was straight forward to put together. I have a decent rolling hills and it handles it with ease. Thanks to this lawn mower, it easily halved my mowing time. It also comes with a hitch point so I can add on to it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently got the Craftsman T140 riding lawn mower, with 18.5 HP. Runs good, of course it's loud when it runs, and quieter while idiling. Adjustable seat and like that you can lower the blades to adjust to the cut you want on your yard. Also shipped very well!! Definitely happy with this product!!

Works Great!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Craftmans lawnmower is my first riding lawnmower, I must say I love it!! It’s very easy to use, it was a little hard for me to start it cause I’ve never used a riding lawnmower before. After reading all the instructions, I was able to start and drive it. You can adjust how fast you want to go. To start the lawnmower you have to push the clutch in and turn the key, which I feel like a dummy for not ever using one. The Craftmans lawnmower is a must have, love being able to ride this to mow my yard instead of a push mower like I’ve been using the past years. The Craftmans lawnmower is very sturdy, durable lawnmower. It’s a great brand to have, definitely must have if you have one.
