This red cross line laser offers 100° vertical and horizontal lines with a 36-ft visible range. It also features a locking pendulum, a 3 position lock switch with manual mode and a removable quick link bracket with 1/4-in 20-in thread mount for tripod use. This kit includes a bracket and batteries.

Will not give any measurement
Product turns on, but when trying to take measurement according to operation manual, the laser just turns off. No measurement given.

Won't self level and no insturction
The unit won't self level itself and had to use string and a level to finish a project.

Won't turn on after first time charging it
Used for a while and then after charging it, I can not get it to turn on. Indicator shows full charge but unit will not turn on. Went with this unit instead of Bosch unit, but starting to regret purchase.

Defective product
I cannot get the device to take any sort of measurement. I can change the unit of measurement and turn it on/off but that’s it. All I get is dashes and I am disappointed.

DOES NOT TURN OFF - HAVE TO REMOVE BATTERIES
Not happy right out of the box! How in the world do you make an electronic product in the year 2021 with no way to turn it off outside of removing the batteries???

Just didn't work
I was hopeful that this device would work. No instructions included with device, looked up on Craftsman website. Followed instructions and the device would not even take a measurement. It did once...a very small distance of 6 inches, definitely not the 40 it says. I need a device like this for work...perfect size for carrying, I am disappointed.

Didn't last long at all
I loved using this it went everywhere with me but I was using it one day and it just stopped in the middle of a measurement. Only got to use it few times and for the price should have lasted way longer. It has full charge etc. It just won't turn on
