What is the horse power of this unit?
HP is not listed anywhere. However, it is a good unit that easily pumps up tires and blows out the drains on my RV trailer. Some of the numbers: 120V 60Hz 1PH (one phase) 10A, max 150 PSI, 2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI, Unit weight = 30 lbs, Fitting size 1/4", Oil free, Tank capacity 6 gallons. or 22.71 L. Two couplers. But HP? Nothing listed.

Would this air compressor be suitable for a 2/5 Gal Pressure Pot?
That is a hard question to answer with out trying it but I do believe it would be sufficient I purchased it to replace a larger unit that died. I am turning the old one into a secondary holding tank that will give me a larger air supply.

Is this compressor good to blow out water from in ground sprinkler system.
I would not as there is not enough air in the tank and the compressor would need to run for too long.

CRAFTSMAN 6-Gallon Pancake Air Compressor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little Air Compressor for home use. This compressor is Oil Free. I have 2 small shops at home that I do a lot of woodworking in. I have plumbed my air system to each shop and this little Air Compressor does a great job for all my air tools. This Air Compressor replaces a DeWALT Model D55166 6-Gallon Heavy-Duty Wheeled Portable Compressor that is Oil Lubed. The DeWALT works OK when the weather is warm, but when its cold out side it will not run until you warm it up. Keeps tripping the circuit breaker until it warms up. The oil is just to thick in the cold. You will love this Craftsman Air Compressor.

Effeciant size for homeowner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wooks well for occasional use on home and farm. Have used to inflate 19" and 28" tractor tires. Light enough to be easily portable when needed. With two outlets I have a short feeder hose to my stationary reel and a second short hose to use when carried to the tractor shed or barn. Enough capacity to fill my portable tanks to 120 psi. It replaced a Craftsman oiled air compressor that was still working after 45+ years and only failed because the tank had rusted. This was cheeper than replacing the tank, and if it lasts half that time will probably be my last compressor!

Same as Porter Cable compressor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost identical to my old Porter Cable 6 gal. Same Price, same 2.5CFM, Same 150# pressure, and same noise level, same walking around the garage when operating. I'll bet they're made in the same factory (though I don't know for certain). Overall, it's a good little compressor for light duty tire and up to 3 inch nails in my nail gun. But, if you're a construction pro, you know it won't handle your speed and air tools. Just adequate for a DIY'er like me. Hopefully it'll last for 5 years like my Porter Cable did.

Awesome
I bought this 6 gallon pancake air compressor to replace one that broke down on me. I needed it tp put up trim and case moldings aroud the house and let me tell you, this little work horse did an awesome job. It never failed me it never emptied and never lost pressure, i kept nailing without any problems. I worked on my house for about 4 hours non stop nailing trim and case moldings using trim nails from an inch to 2 inch nails and no problems. It fast to fill up and its not really that loud and its portable, Lightweight and super durable. I’m not a carpenter, i’m just the less than average DIY home owner. I would definitely recommend it to any homeowner or carpenter.

Big surprise.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a portable compressor to keep our RVs tires at about 95 lbs. My first compressor could not get them there at all. This baby got them to the right pressure in less than a minute. Very pleased.

Easy is an Understatement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Craftsman Air Compressor, I had the usual nervous moment worrying about how difficult it may be to set up and operate. After pulling it out of the box and looking at the instruction manual, I wondered why I worried at all.
How difficult is it? Well, you pull it out of the box, plug it in, plug in the hose that comes with the compressor, flip the switch on (let it run a few minutes) and then plug in a paint sprayer or hammer and go to work. I plugged up a hammer and it worked phenomenally! It has 150 PSI (2.8 SCFM) so it has good power .
Last but not least it has an easy drain for the moisture that accumulates in the canister.
This compressor is listed in the dictionary under the definition of "easy".

Dead just after the warranty expired
Weird how things break just outside the warranty isn’t it? Something about planned obsolescence I take it.
Well 1 year and 2 months into ownership, this tank will no longer compress air. Made a loud racket, shot rubber out of the fan, and now its kaput.
Wouldn’t recommend their air ratchet either. Craftsman does NOT do their lifetime warranty on any air tools. Leave brand loyalty on the shelf with this stuff.
Also, get a bigger tank. It gets annoying hearing this little pancake rattle around after just 15 seconds of use.

Made in USA Air Compressor
The "Made in USA" label is the number 1 reason for me selecting this air compressor. I also like its 150psi output. I used it yesterday to swap four wheels and tires on my wife's car. This powerful portable air compressor really spins those lug nuts with a 1/2" drive air impact wrench.
I would like to say that I was assisted online in selecting this item by the "CHAT NOW" feature. I said I was only interested in American-made items, and I was provided with several options. I had shopped elsewhere and was unable to find that information online.
