Description

This mechanic-style set features 83 SAE and metric 1/4" - 3/8" parts for all your household and automotive needs. Each socket has large markings for a quick size identification. The 72-tooth ratchet offers minimal arc swing when fastening, while the hex sockets offer increased torque with the fastener. Sockets are covered with a fully polished chrome finish for superior corrosion resistance. Moreover, a compact and molded storage case makes it easy to transport tools and gives them an exceptional durability. In addition to the ratchet driver, this kit includes 19 shallow 1/4" sockets, 2 driver extension bars, 20 shallow 3/8" sockets, 10 deep 3/8" sockets and 16 short arm hex keys. Was hoping the quality would be improved but that isn’t the case. If your shopping at this price point buy gearwrench brand. Gearwrench tools are better quality at similar prices.

This set was included with purchase of a Craftsman cabinet, nice set and comes in a good case and lid that holds everything securely without keeping a death-grip on the tools when the lid is open. The ratchets are smooth, good quality with an easy quick-release button. I would recommend these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Len from Everything falls out I bought one of these sets. Took it home and opened it. I opened it the wrong way and everything fell out. More than very annoying. I didn't want to keep a tool set in which everything fell out if I opened it the wrong way. I returned it for a Kobalt set. The case was designed so that no matter what way you opened it, the contents stay in place. The tools were probably okay but I didn't want to cope with everything falling out when I opened the case.
