There were contractors at my house doing remodeling and they had one of these tape measures and I really liked it. It is very smooth opening and closing. The measurement marks are large and easy to read. When you hold this tape measure it is easy to grip. All the things I like in one package along with the Stanley name. I give it an A+, five stars!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Byron from Worst tape measure I've ever owned I don't love anything about this product. The tape measure gets stuck around the critical 6 to 10 ft and won't retract. You actually have to force the tape back into the housing or pull about 15 to 20 ft of it out and then it will retract.

I still test the 13' standoff to see if it still has the durability and each time it still functions like it should. I do house remodeling and industrial measuring and this tape measure helps me get the job done right.
