Description

This work light from Craftsman(R) provides a superior, long lasting LED light with a lifespan of 25,000 hours. It provides 2000 lumens of light output and can be used safely in damp or wet areas. The lamp is easy to carry and store thanks to its fold-flat design. It features a 360 degree rotating head for multiple beam angles as well as a 5' electric cord with 3-prong plug. The lamp is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

Why does this light have a p65 Warning on it? ( cancer and reproductive harm )

It's actually IP65, and that is a water-resistance rating. IP65 means "Protected from low pressure water jets from any direction"

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stew from Powerful Work Light [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to illuminate walls while painting (and prepping). I'm impressed by the light output of the 30 SMDs. Just don't inadvertently look into it or you'll be seeing the pattern for some time. At a draw of only 22W (based on my own watt meter reading), this is a lot of light for very little power. Both the stand and light panel are hinged, so you'll be hard pressed to not find the optimal angle for your needs. I'd have preferred to rate 4.5 stars, with the 1/2 star deduction for the very cheap cord storage brackets and screws. Everything else feels like quality material. It's also nice to fold up for storage.

It’s just a semi-transparent silicone rubber rocker switch cover, but it is a pain the find and press with gloves on. The light is great otherwise. Very bright and the colors are true, it doesn’t throw off colors like some LED lights seem to. Multiple position base/stand is convenient, I even have mine hung upside down over a bookshelf and it works great. The cord is too short, so that is my only advice... use it close to a receptacle or get an extension cord. I’ve gone back and bought a few of these lights to use around the shop/storage rooms and I won’t hesitate to buy more if I find places I need extra light.

They are lightweight, sturdy, bright, and don't heat up much at all (compared to halogen work lights), which is much safer for the user. I put two of them back-to-back underneath my unused car, to keep the pack rats from nesting in there and further destroying my electrical wiring. I keep them on 24/7, so I don't have to remember to turn them on and off. They don't use much power so running cost isn't a concern, and they are being put to the test to see how long they will last with non-stop use! I will report back here when they finally stop working, as their longevity will be a helpful bit of information for future purchasers. I highly recommend this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stratsurvivor from 2000 lumen work light really bright. Do not look into the light. It's really bright. Mounted mine on a tripod stand from an old incandescent. It looks wonky, but its really bright. Really good positioning and aim this way. Built in stand works well too, upside down and downside up for different locations, under the car, in the rafters, under the porch. Compared cost vs brightness with others, found this on sale. Man it's really bright. Better than what I expected. Longevity or durability? Don't know yet.

The second one was broken on both sides. Not sure if I will try a third one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tim from CRAFTSMAN 2000-Lumen LED Portable Work Light [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] on the positive side, it is a very bright light. however, the first one i bought was broke when i took it out of the box. exchanged it for another which lasted about a month. seems like the screws are way too tight when they put them together which cracks the housing. since you cannot see the cracks from the outside i assumed the replacement was ok...

Love the fact you don't have all that heat coming off the lights like you do with halogen. Puts out a lot of light. Very happy. Bought on Black Friday, so got two lights for the price of one!
