Rated 5 out of 5 by TrogdorTheBurninator from very nice! Looks strong. Made in Vietnam, looks strong. I'd trust this for battery-powered impact tools that look like drills. (If you're using airtools, I think you wouldn't need this adapter anyway.) I will use this to adapt sockets to my torque screwdriver for very low torques that neither of my torque wrenches can handle, in situations where screwdriver bits won't work. So I doubt I'll snap it ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Montana from Craftsman 2-in socket adapter The socket adapter enables an electric drill to use standard 3/8" sockets to drive screws or bolts that do not require the power of a ratchet. I bought the socket adapter to place the correct size socket that would hold rifle cartridge cases and turn them while heating the necks with a gas torch to anneal (soften) the necks of the case to create consistent neck tension on bullets for precision bench rest rifle competition and would work well for tightening bolts with an electric drill when the need arises. The socket adapter is well built and works well.
