Good Product, Great Price
I'm not a pro, so I can't speak to how it would do for architectural grade home building, etc. But I can tell you that I built a stone porch using this as my primary level, and it worked great. I dropped it a couple of times from having it leaned up against a wall, and this thing wasn't fazed at all minus a couple of red paint chips off of it. Definitely good enough for DIY projects, and I particularly like the fact that it has a bubble that can be rotated for degrees other than 45 or 90. I plan to build a deck and a shed in the next year, so I really needed a long level that can do 60 degree angles and more. Good buy.

Good Level
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bright red signature Craftsman color makes it easy to find in a cluttered garage. The white etched markings are easy to read. Also like the adjustable level on the end.

Awesome big ruler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew I needed one of these until I was going to build a mega coop. During the building of this magnificent structure I had to cut many a board of plywood, sometimes at weird angles. This level not only helped me make sure things were level but helped me make straight lines. It also assisted me in putting screws into studs easily.

Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works great. Sturdy and does what it should. However if you plan to use this to measure from the tip, you will need to remove the plastic on the edge as keeping it on will throw off the measurement. Otherwise worth the money

Its a level yes, not it's markings aren't accurate
I bought this level to help with a bedroom renovation. I was getting progressively frustrating while dry walling because I couldn't figure out why my board measurements were regularly off. I realized that I'd been using this item occasionally for measurements since it had measurements down the side, on closer inspection it became clear that the markings were oddly placed and misleading. The level is exactly 48" long, but the zero point doesn't start at the butt end of the level as you'd expect, but 1/4" in at the point that the black meets the red material, resulting in the 48" marking not being at the end of the level but 1/4" further in space. This is appalling, the markings are therefore useless and misleading, I wished I'd realized this earlier, it would've saved me a day of frustration and mistakes. I will be returning this level and will find something else, with another company.

Added extra
It may look like just a regular level but at one end it has an adjustable Gage that allows you to set it at any angle you need. My property is on a slight slope ( 3 degrees) so as we are putting in pavers and need to keep the rain run off we set it at 3 degrees and we can tell if we are keeping the slope. It worked easily and the pavers look great. It is definitely a help when you have to be concerned with drainage. It would also help if you are building some thin that has angles other then 90 degrees.
