how durable are the 4" Skylights" and what are they made of? How hail resistant is this shed??
The skylights are made of flexible plastic (not clear). These should be able to withstand hail. The shed is made of a soft pliable plastic. So it should absorb the pounding from hail. We have not had any hail damage. However, the structure is not very rigid. I suggest that you closely inspect an assembled version at the distributor's store. Check out how the plastic floor is attached the base (which you need to provide). Download and inspect the assembly instructions. Also, check the walls. Note that the wall panels are held together using large plastic screws. I added structural lumber to add some rigidity, particularly the floor. You might be better off paying more for a stronger shed.

Will this shed be able to withstand winter weather (ie snow)?
I have had this shed for one winter now. we did get a lot of snow this past winter. the roof is in tact, no bending of the supports. I did not remove the snow from the roof throughout the winter.

Horrible Instructions!
The instructions were horrible! Very unclear Instructions which took a lot of guess work on which way the part should go and having to undo what was done and restart over. Packaging of parts were not accurately marked or marked at all so took guess work to figure out which part was correct. The instructions on the roof construction turned out to be completely different then how in the end we had to put it up to get all the pieces to connect properly. The window panes for the doors were no where to be found. After all that it is a nice sturdy shed that we are hoping will last us for many years at the lake.

Not hard to build at all!!!!
I recently purchased a shed. I am not that handy but as I read the instructions it didn’t seem that difficult to build. As long as you take your time and read the instructions as well as use a little common sense you will have no problem. It does say to you is to people for safety sake but I had no problems. I had to use a step ladder to put the roof on but no issues. Just don’t rush through the build. It took me three hours to build. I did have constructed level platform to work on..... A level surface is a must.
I would have no problems or issues recommending this product.

Great looking, quality-made shed
I bought this two weeks ago on sale for $799. I read reviews before buying and paid close attention to the instructions - still had to correct a few things along the way. All panels are labelled, screws/bolts come in bags with printed labels, and the manual indicates the pieces in each labelled bag, but the instructions reference the items as 'NN' for example, which you would have to go back and figure out which bag they are in. Not bad when you get used to it. I had to use a shim to get the two longer side panels locked in place... ground was level. All other panels were fine. The bottom tabs didnt seem to "snap" like the instructions said, but are in place just fine. Sliding the roof panel tabs in place took some force with a rubber mallet (as the instructions said). The little power cord door is a nice touch (see picture). I did the pre-assembly first a cpl days before the build - helped offset the long length of time if doing it all at once, especially in the +30 degree weather. Using a power drill helped with the many screws going in, especially for the roof supports. But most screws are better with screwdriver to avoid damage. All in all, very happy with the product, lots of natural light with the 4 sunlights and door windows.

Blew Apart in the Wind
Was happy with it for a year, seemed sturdy enough and worked for what we needed. One bad wind storm though and everything blew apart. Sucks to spend good money on a shed for it to blow apart in the wind.

WARNING - READ BEFORE BUYING!!!
Where to begin....I have assembled many things in my life of more complexity but this CRAFTSMAN Shed takes the prize. After carefully reading the instructions and understanding the concept, which is easy in theory, we set out panel by panel ensuring all corners are perfectly squared but of course they never ended up squared which began our road to turmoil. We took the shed apart several times and used different platforms to see if this could be rectified but no success and seems it might have been a warped flooring platform.
Once the walls were all set-up and the holes for the PLASTIC fasteners (yes you read correctly, PLASTIC fasteners) were lined up perfectly to secure wall panels togethers, gaps in the walls were noticed which, of course lead to other issues with the roof panels and front and back headers which don’t even align properly leaving noticeable gaps.
Don't get me started with the metal roof truss as none of the pre-drilled holes in the plastic roof panels lined up to properly secure to the metal roof truss. An exorbitant amount of jerry-rigging and manipulating of the shed (pushing on walls, removing pieces, brut force…) to make the holes line up caused many hours of frustration and we are not talking about slightly off but around 1 inches to the right/left of the metal roof truss. We finally managed to get alignment but not 100% convinced that we secured all the screws exactly where they should be due to the poor construction and cheapness of this product.
Even the door handles were issues but at this point it was to be expected as the entirety of the project was a nightmare and wouldn’t wish this shed on my worse enemy.
The final test due to the lack of proper alignment will be to see how waterproof this product really is and with our luck, it will leak like a sieve…more to follow.

Set up by myself!
I really like my new 7x7 shed! I was hesitant to try setting up by myself, especially putting the roof panels on, but it went much easier than I imagined. A couple tips: The base must be solid on the ground and if there is any play, the panels won't 'click' into place as you push down and slide them. I used 18"x18" cement slabs on a level area with some gravel/sand in between the leftover 1" spaces between them. Don't do this. I can actually feel these spaces under the floor when I'm in the shed. Not a big deal but have your slabs touch for a better feel inside. Also, sweep your base free of grit before laying the floor on top so no grit/crunch sound when walking inside the completed shed floor.
For the roof panels, I found that the panels would sit down far enough just to get the screw started (from inside the shed) and it would literally suck the roof panel down and into place as it was screwed in. I was very happy that it was this easy! Use a clamp to hold the outside edge of the roof panel down while you go inside and start scewing it down into place.
I used some black spray foam inside where any daylight was showing (except the screen vents of course) and now I have a waterproof, bug proof storage shed!

Weak crappy resin shed
I have owned this just I year now and the corners are cracking so much that on two of the corners I can actually see inside a bit. Definitely don't appreciate spending 750 for a shed to last a year. A friend has a rubbermade shed and had it for 10 years now I should have gone with them.
