Description

Organize your garage with this Craftsman® freestanding tall floor cabinet. Made of heavy-duty steel, the cabinet includes 3 shelves, 2 of which are adjustable, that are able to hold up to 100 lb each. It has 4 adjustable levelling feet to help keep the cabinet level even on uneven floors. The doors close shut with a magnetic latch and use a keyed locking system for added safety. This product is backed by a 10-year limited warranty.

Where can I get replacement locks for this cabinet. It has stopped working after only a few months. Appears as though a tumbler has jammed, and key wont go into the lock far enough to operate the lock

Did you get the cabinet open? If do the lock is a basic cabinet lock. Most hardware stores have them on the shelf. What you must watch for is the length of the main lock. The rest you can use the same inside locking plate. If you are not able to find the proper lock, please re-connect with me and I may have some used ones on hand. Also if you have the lock off, go to a lock smith and they can replace the tumblers only and usually at no charge. Tks!

The specs for this Craftsman 32 W x 74 H red & black steel storage system states No casters. Is this unit casters compatible if I were to install them myself?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stephen from Great cabinet but terrible instructions [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give this 5 stars, but as others have said, the instructions are not good. You need to pay extremely close attention to the direction of the holes on the parts; for both sides, because it is not symmetrical. One tip: it is a lot easier to assemble this with the cabinet laying down on the back side; don't be like me and attempt to assembly it standing up. Otherwise, the cabinet is well-made and I did not have any quality issues (paint, holes not lining up, etc.). It performs flawlessly and looks fantastic. I planned on only getting 1 but now I'm contemplating getting a second one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Larry from Great garage cabinet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an outdated plastic cabinet with this great looking Craftsman unit. It was easy to assemble, and has adjustable feet so it will be level on any surface. It is a good size cabinet with the two middle shelves being adjustable. Just plan ahead for what you want to put on the shelves because the shelves are not adjustable once it is assembled. It would be nice if the shelves could be moved up or down without taking the cabinet apart. Regardless,I recommend this product. Craftsman has long been known for its quality. I am glad Lowes now carries this Brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Paulbroker from Nice Cabinet but came damaged After bringing the heavy box home, while going through the assembly process, I discovered one panel was dented and a metal corner bent out of shape. What do you do now? Theres a ton of pieces all over the garage floor, so you cant box it up and return it. I had to bend the bent corner back into shape with a hammer and simply ignore the dent. The person that boxes the unit at the factory had to have known the damage was there. With that said, i like the cabinet, but for the price I would expect it to be in New, undamaged condition. The unit weighs so much, and has so many parts, once opened its very difficult, if not impossible to return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jon from Best I could find - solid [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good, strong cabinet that will likely handle a little more weight than advertised. Much nicer than the exposed shelves I replaced. No more dust and I can stash my junk out of sight and secure it with the lock if needed. I would really prefer it not be red. I really wanted a plain gray or black cabinet but at this price point, the bright red Craftsman seemed much tougher and solid. The peg board system inside the doors is a nice plus for extra storage. The 32" width makes for narrow doors so if you need clearance for vehicles, this helps a lot.

Usually try to buy them when on sale with this being my fourth Craftsman brand cabinet. Received this 32” cabinet in excellent shape and all hardware well packed. Taking your time and following instructions assembly took approximately 2 hours using battery drill. Cabinet is well made, sturdy and good looking. Doors have pegboard holes which is handy since I had planned to add some pegboard to interior to hang fishing supplies. Like it enough that as soon as it goes on sale again will buy another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this cabinet wasn't cheap. thought being a craftsman, should had no issues. wrong. none of the shelves lined up with any of the holes. the right door hinges lined up with the holes except for the top 2 holes. called the number that is listed on the door, but was told I would have to return it to the store that I bought it from. problem is it took me over 7 hours to get together and I had it delivered. there's no way I'm going to take it apart. so I'm going to have to redrill the holes. craftsman was less than helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JoeBabuzzo from Arrived damaged After unboxing all the pieces and screws I discovered that three of the pieces had been badly dinged by what obviously looks like a forklift. You would think after years of people writing bad reviews about this very issue Craftsman would have done something to rectify the problem. Because the piece is heavy and all the pieces have been unpacked returning it at this point isn't really an option. Doubly disappointing is the fact that the day after I purchased this item it went on sale for almost $100 less! I've paid full price for a lemon. If I could've given zero stars I would have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by J from Warning - not the same quality or color Color is a bright red rather than traditional color and does not match any existing cabinets or storage chests you may have. Constructed very cheaply - thin walls, with built-in dents/marks even though very well packaged for shipping and undamaged on the outside of the carton. Doors no longer have actual latching mechanism - just a cheapo magnet to hold the doors closed. Ridiculous to destroy what's left of the Craftsman name. Find a used one instead.
