I am trying to get replacement spools for this item as mine has finished. I am seeing mixed reviews for the replacement on 0.065 3 package spools and wondering what exact item is needed to replace the spool on trimmer.
The spool for the CMCST915C1 can be replaced with the N595044. Your trimmer uses any .065" (1.65 mm) diameter, round nylon line. Please contact CRAFTSMAN directly for assistance.

Battery Lasts Maybe 8-10 minutes
While this weedeater is easy for me to start, I'm lucky to have 4 other Craftsman tools that require batteries. Just to do my front lawn, it takes 4 batteries. It also doesn't cut as well as even a corded weedeater, and definitely not anywhere near a gas weedeater. I had to settle for this one because of shoulder surgery which precludes me using anything that has to be pulled to crank. I have a Craftsman mower that has the battery to crank. Now that I love. I've opted to just put down RoundUp because of all of the stopping and starting and battery changes this machine requires. I have a front yard that is tiny, so much so that I cannot use a push mower to mow it, if that tells you anything about this weedeater.

Terrible battery
Did not even use it. I picked it up late Saturday from a hardware store along with the leaf blower (combo package), charged a battery (it took about two hours), plugged it to the leaf blower, tried it once for a few seconds, and was pleased with the power for just blowing grass and leaves off the sidewalk. It was late, so I went to bed with the battery attached to the blower. The next morning the battery was completely dead. Took it back to the store and returned it. The man at the store said that a leaf blower and weed trimmer should have at least a 40 volt. Even a 20 volt, though, should remain charged overnight when it is not used.

Vibrates the heck outta my hands
And the string slaps against the guard and makes a god awlful noise. I borrowed a friends battery powered Stihl weed eater since my late husbands gas powered Stilh was too heavy for me . And I thought maybe this Craftsman would be kinda like her Stihl battery weed eater---NOT EVEN IN SAME UNIVERSE. This Craftsman weed eater vibrates my hands and arm about as bad as a gas powered weedeater does, Im a 41 year old in good shape woman and it shouldnt be that much of a hassle. And the string slaps the guard and makes some kind craazy noise and its loud. Sounds kinda like what rocks in a lawnmower sounds like . Going to get me a Stihl in the morning.

EXTREMELY UNDER POWERED
Tired of trouble starting my gas trimmer, I opted to get this on the 4th of July sale in bundle with the blower. Extremely under powered. Takes 3 to 4 swipes to trim my grass around the house. Ran it about 20 minutes, and switched back to the Cub Cadet. Finished the other 90% of the job in 5 minutes. The only reason I bought this is because I'm already quite invested in the V20 battery system. The "blower" in the bundle is also laughable as I think I can blow harder.

This is a pretty good little weed eater for the price!
It's easy for me to handle, (79 years old, 5' tall)!
My biggest complaint is the battery life. It only last for about 15 minutes, and it take more than an hour to recharge( by then, I don't want to work anymore).
If it had longer battery life or faster recharging it would be great! also, the manual is garbage! Too cluttered, confusing!

The box lies
I bought this today, but it's going right back to the store tomorrow. The box says "Includes" and has pictures of the battery and a battery charger, so I naively thought there would be a charger in the box. Wrong: That's something I have to buy separately, for almost the same amount of money as I paid for the edger/trimmer! Not interested, sorry!

Cord wrapping & parts break
I purchased this tool for home use. First day out of the box and after fully charging the battery for 12 hours, I started using along the edges of my driveway. Finished one side but when starting on the other side, the cord wrapped up inside of the shaft. I spent 20 minutes slowly unraveling it. Then it wouldn’t work after that. Apparently, once you bump the bottom line feed when it’s moving, it causes the little poorly designed pin that locks the spool disc in place, to break. Thus making the entire machine useless. I hate to think that Craftsman Brands are slowly turning into Harbor Freight shelf worthy crap! This machine lasted only 28 minutes before being returned back to the store. Save yourself the headache and purchase a better brand!

Not good at all
As others have experienced the line constantly wraps around the shaft. From what I can see the "brake" for the line never engages and is broken> My wife purchased this for us yesterday in store in the pack that contains the blower too.
