Handy saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this thing with almost every project I do. It save me much time when I was building an additional deck on my house this past month. A must have in your arsenal.

7-1/4” circular saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been surprised at the convenience, ease of operation, and actual power, based on the price. Bought on the spur of the moment after previous circular saw expired. Enjoying it immensely

Everything it should be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saw is durable, easy to control, and cuts true. It's everything a good circular saw should be, and at a reasonable price.

Craftsman quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this saw. Nice weight, balance and power. I use it more than my cordless saw. The table adjusts nicely and is accurate.

Great addition
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for handy work around the house and it's been perfect. Seeing how easy it works and cuts I find myself doing little projects myself. Great buy

Poor materials, design, lacks power
This saw is poorly designed. The supporting structure in the rear relies solely on very thin bracket which doubles as the depth guide. The same thin metal is used on the front support as well. The metal flexes too easily and cause the blade to have too much "heel" when trying to crosscut resulting in an angled cut and burns.
The blade bearing also allow too much side wobble.
The saw is advertised as 15 amp. It falls way short on power. Compared to 15 amp Milwaukee 7 1/4" , it fails big time.
Craftsman quality has deteriorated. 50 years ago Craftsman was a respected brand. Not so much now........
