Description
This CRAFTSMAN circular saw will allow you to accomplish all your renovation projetcs. Designed for a blade measuring 7 1/4-in diameter, it offers a consistent power of 13 A and will never lose velocity due to a discharged battery. Equipped with a high performance motor of 5300 RPM, this saw is perfect for fast, aggressive cuts in rough material, such as framing. Its lightweight, bevelling shoe allows for angled cuts of up to 45 degrees. The ideal tool for cross-cutting and ripping through soft and hardwood, this circular saw is sold with a 7 1/4-in carbide tipped stainless steel blade of 18 teeth and one hexagonal wrench. This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty against any defects in material or workmanship.

Flimsy and cheap
My old skil saw bit the dust so I drove to the local Rona to find this Craftsman on sale. As I began to cut thru a 3/4" sheet of white laminate, the thin metal deck warped causing the cut to veer off from the fence guard.

Great saw for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw to make repairs and do demolition after Hurricane Zeta. It is a great little workhorse. I got a demolition blade to cut up my 6 foot picket fence (and my neighbors) into manageable sections to haul to the curb. The saw made short work of it all. I've never had a circular that tracked as good as this one. More than enough power and seems plenty durable. I love this saw!

Poor quality
Very basic design, but expected for the price. But the quality of the tool is a nothing like the Craftsman tools your grandfather had. I’ve use this saw about 4 times over the last year and the guard had broken on it. This will probably be the last Craftsman product that I buy.

Perfect
I bought this saw for around the house use. It tackles the smallest job's like making planter's or the biggest job's like remodeling. I am very pleased with this saw. It's easy to use and heavy duty so I know it will last me for year's to come!
