Description
Ensure enhanced performance with a CRAFTSMAN cordless trimmer. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, this trimmer provides a greater run time. The cordless edge trimmer is ideal for residential lawns or yards of up to 1/2 acre. The 20-volt trimmer comes with a 3-year limited warranty. This string trimmer weighs 6.7 lbs making it lightweight and easy to use.

replacement line reel type needed - what part number?
The actual CRAFSMAN Part Number for a replacement Spool (with thread) is N611680. Also you can buy an aftermarket spool of wire 0.060mm) and just refill it yourself - quite easy took about 1 minute.
My Craftsman V20 Trimmer/Edger P/N is CMCST910M1

Doesn't lock in middle
The weed eater lock for the middle does not hold and let's the weed eater come apart ridiculous. Bee weed eating and all off a sudden from the vibration it comes apart.

Needs work
Great trimmer light easy to use but after two uses the line feed stopped working and can not find a parts listing for a replacement head, very frustrating

Line not feeding out.
This little machine works very well to a point, the line has stopped feeding and have to manually take off the cap and feed line out. It is very frustrating and dissapointing

trimmer string doesn't feed out
Got this trimmer recently and the spool refuses to feed the trimmer string. You can press the feed button all day long and nothing will come out... The trimmer is good otherwise but sucks in that it won't feed.

String does not feed
The string on my weed eater does not advance. I have to stop take apart and manually advance.
I notice this is a major issue with this tool based on all the reviews. It would be good customer service to let people know how this can be fixed or how the problem can be resolved via feedback on these reviews rather than forcing everyone to write it up. You could provide a video on how to fix it! Thank you!

All the problems
I am finding that I am experiencing many of the problems noted below. I have to manually feed the string, I can't find a replacement spool, and the battery life has not been great. I live in a remote community in Northern Canada so it is hard to get equipment or parts if I can't order on line.

Can't locate parts. I need a new spool head assembly OR A SPOOL THAT FITS all spools on the market are too tight. I ALSO NEED A SPOOL CAP THAT FITS.
