Rated 1 out of 5 by bbchung from Only work for 1 hole I bought this to drill a bigger hole for the door lock of the exterior door, the door is thin metal layer outside and wood inside. It has a hard time to drill through the 1st layer of metal, then the wood work great and fast, but the last layer of metal only scratch a circle line on the surface, drill a long time still can not drill through. I already use the water to cold down the hole saw from time to time but it make no different. Now I need to buy another one to drill my 2nd door.

Rated 2 out of 5 by rantbot from very poor with plywood New out of the package and it has to burn its way through 1/2" ply. The only way to get through is to pull out and knock off accumulated crud with a wire brush. Maybe it's just the glue in my particular plywood melting onto the blade, but I doubt it; no other cutting tools I've used on this plywood have any problems. I cut the holes with a really cheap forstner bit, and that had no trouble at all. Other hole saws work too. It's just this saw which doesn't. Not an impressive product.
