Description
The Crafstman 7-drawer mobile workbench combines a butcher block work surface with a rolling tool cabinet. The 18-20 gauge double-wall I-frame construction is built to last, while the work surface is a 0.67-inch thick piece of solid wood. The 7 drawers with ball-bearing slide system open easily and have a non-slamming, soft-close mechanism, operating even with a 100 lb tool load. The removable solid wood surface is sealed for easy cleaning. The entire rolling workbench can be moved easily with the heavy-duty 5 inches x 2 inches casters, and these can support up to 1500 lb. The deep drawers can be used to store power tools and tool cases. Full-grip tubular side handles make transport easy, while the workstation's built-in key lock system is a great protection device for your more expensive tools. Red model.

Dented and dinged, drawer damage
I purchased 3. "Made in the USA" that's why I purchased it. One was not welded correctly, another was dented bad enough that a drawer does not work well. The quality check sticker with the person's name comes on the bag holding the keys. Fitting that black tape is used to cover the name of that person and hold the key bag to the drawer. The word "Pride" is used a lot by Craftsman in marketing. Maybe spend less on paying the marketing people and actually take some pride in your prodiucts and people? Also the GIANT stickers are a pain to get off.
Stop competing on price and make a quality product.

Good value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have liked and used Craftsman products for probably 40 years. Yes, the brand has evolved but the quality has never let me down. This cart is a solid medium grade and seems good enough for anything a home handyman like myself does. The wooden top is not that thick but a nice surface to work on. Drawers slightly stiff to operate. Out of the box just needed to bolt the casters and handle on. Note the item weighs close to 150 pounds and you will need to lay it on its back to assemble, then raise it onto the casters.

Hope your key lock never breaks
Once the lock breaks on this tool cabinet there is NO way of unlocking it without cutting open the metal to get to the metal pole to force open the locks which are located in the back of the tool cabinet behind all the drawers. The key lock is extremely cheaply made, but the metal flaps that lock the drawers in the back ensure you will never see your tools again.
Couldn't even utilize the warranty because you have to exchange the item to get it replaced. How do you do that if you can't get your personal tools out of it?
Would not recommend this product.

Purchased and Damaged x 2
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this and had to return it for another one. When I made it home and unboxed the second one, it was damaged as well. Both boxes looked to be in good shape with zero indications of damage. Don’t know if this is a shipping issue or manufacture issue but my current toolbox that was ran over and needed to be replaced was in better condition.
Lowe’s was great with the return/replacement and even offered to give it a go for a third time. I declined and choose a refund. Hopefully this isn’t an indication of where Craftsman is headed.

Good unit, slides are a bit fragile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is solidly built, good wheels. Installing the pull bar and wheels requires some drawers to be removed for access to the backside of the bolts. When re-installing the drawers, care must be taken to ensure the drawer isn't even a bit sideways or it will bind up and bend the front part of the slide. Once engaged fully, the drawer will hold a good amount of weight.

Great product, easy to put together
Pros: the drawers are nice and smooth. Lockable.
Plenty of storage for my purpose, though I haven’t put all my tools in it yet.
Cons: mine came with a lot of dents right out of the box. One of the top corners, the widest (top) drawer face, the metal surrounding the outlet and and the back.
Also, the dimensions are inaccurate in the description. The unit is 41” wide WITHOUT the handle. Once you install the handle it’s closer to 43”. I have a 42” space that I intended this item for and I have to use it without the handle.
Other thoughts: I wish there is a template or even just a measurement guide to cut the drawer liners.

Mind blown
This little baby will blow your mind though out the day and work overtime to keep part of your tools tucked away safe and sound at night while us mere mortals are having to take a break for food and sleep. The work top is really only big enough to keep some tools and smaller parts laid out on. I actually keep my laptop on it with identifix and other programs pulled up. This takes up around 1/3 of the work top so there’s still enough room to open up a tool set or two. The slick resale red paint job is exactly 3 shades lighter then my older larger craftsman tool chest which makes this thing a panty dropper.

You get what you pay for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Double check the dimensions - wish it were taller; height is too short for most people if you think the wood top working surface is going to be at a comfortable height. Yes, it does have soft-close drawers, but it's more trouble than it's worth - it's a pain to open these drawers; you need to retrain yourself to pull slowly when opening them! Speaking of soft-close drawers, I think mines is defective as the largest, bottom, left drawer us NOT soft-close - the drawer handle looks bent when I first got it. I went from a triple-stack 26" to this, but this unit is too small.
