Rated 5 out of 5 by Richard from Great shed, discard instructions before assembling This shed was incredibly easy to assembly and appears sturdy. I could have done it in half the time had I thrown away the instructions when it came time to attach the roof. Instructions on securing the front of the roof make absolutely no sense. After puzzling over it for an hour, I threw them away and put on my mechanical engineering hat. It was easy from there. If anyone else has trouble, you don't "insert the roof lock into the side panel and rotate up". There is a large triangular tab sticking up from the top of the side panel (near the front). Simply position one end into the oversize recess and attach the rest to roof. I like it a lot.

It looks like the manufacture decided to save some money and didn't include an installation manual. All the bags inside have a sticker with www.suncast.com on them. So we went to suncast.com and found a exact shed without the logo. Look like this one is for Menard. https://www.suncast.com/outdoor-storage/54-cu-ft-covingtonr-large-vertical-shed.html Here is the installation manual: bms5725_manual_en.pdf The manual does help. but it is NOT very clearly written. We are both stuck on page 30 :-) Otherwise, the material looks good, not the Crafsman quality, but good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Fran from Difficult Friend called me to help her put it together. I.ve put about 5 other vinyl sheds, and 2 metal sheds together my self. This one definitely takes 2 people. Parts are not identified and shown how they fit on the instructions. It's a puzzle with clues is what the sheet is for. Biggest hang up was the horizontal steel reinforcing bar that we spent about 20 minutes trying to figure where it goes. Finally googling told us. Should have done that first but we trusted the instructions would suffice. Mistaken there! Yet, we were able to get it done in 2 hours. Should have taken an hour. All the other sheds I did in the past were a snap compare to this one!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dannyu from Easy assembly After reading the bad reviews I wondered what I was getting myself into. I was by myself so I figured I may have to stop at some point and get help. So I followed the directions step by step and under an hour later I stood there wondering how anyone could have a problem with this. This shed is nice! yes there are small gaps between the roof and sides but with a tube of caulking you could seal it up. For the money I think it's a very good buy. The only problem I have is there is now more things in it than I planned on and it's almost full. I wonder how they look side by side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CARL from A decent shed for the money [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a place for some outside tools and this fit the bill a lot faster and maybe cheaper than I coud have built it myself. Yes the instructions are confusing and could use some work. Our 9yo daughter was trying to read them off to us and we had to evict her from that role as the back wall was very confusing given that it appeared to have slots like the side walls. Is it Ft knox, nope, but it will keep our stuff dry and out of the elements. I find it amusing to see how the Craftsman brand is being used on a variety of products, this included. It is actually made by Suncast as per the instructions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mang97 from Needs more structure For what you pay for this I would expect to get something that can stand on it's own but it definitely needs more structure. Nothing really holds it together other than the plastic pieces slide together like a children's plastic playground unit. On hot days the plastic softens and can bend. Need to attach the unit to the ground and the back needs to attach to a wall otherwise it can and probably will fall apart. The only strength to this piece is where and how you attach it to something else. This is very easy to put together but not very practical to keep it together. Not for everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Yavuz from Was not difficult to install Reviews were a bit concerning but the shed is that bad quality. The color is gray, not brown or beige like shown in the pictures. Installation was max. 1 hour job, with help of my 11 year old but can also be done alone if needed. The box is big and heavy, you may want to open it at the point of off loading. Also you would need a large sedan with rear seats folded at minimum to transport this (be ready to leave the trunk open) There is a great video on Youtube showing the installation. I gave 4 stars because Craftsman does not have accessories like hooks or baskets like competitors have, so your option is limited to only putting 3 (50" x 12" x 3/4") wooden shelves into the provided slots.

The instruction was not well written and photos were not clear, especially roof assembly. Had to try it and see how every parts go. There are gaps around the back corner of the roof. Both doors' upper hinges have gaps too. The doors are not easy open and close not matter how we tried. I wonder how it hold for raining days since there are gaps. I had Suncast shed couple years ago. It is fairly easy to follow the instruction and it is no leak and standing still.
