Works well for quick clean up anywhere in the yard. Easy to grab and go since you don’t have to worry about dragging the cord around around with you. The battery charges well and quickly. Very portable as well. Not quite as powerfull as my corded blower, but I use it more frequently. Since buying it, it is my go to blower. Definately would recommend this tool. Battery powered tools are a great addition to the home tool arsenal. Quick, accessable and easy to use and very transportable. I love my craftsman battery powered tools.

The first time I used it, I thought maybe I didn't charge it long enough even though I was pretty certain the light was green. The second time I used it, again, I thought it was weird but then thought maybe I used it longer than I realized. Tonight, I timed it. Six minutes and it was done. I have a battery-operated lawn mower that lasts for an hour and a half and a battery-operated weed eater that lasts as well. I don't need something that can go long periods of time without charge, but six minutes is definitely not enough time to even get a quarter of my yard done. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by shifterbits from Great for homeowner use Like other reviewers have posted, I just needed something to blow off the driveway, garage and sidewalks. Works great. I looked at others that were more than 2X the cost. This little thing gets the job done. My gas powered blower gave me trouble for the last time and it had to go. I would take off half a star for the long time it takes to charge the battery with the included charger. The fast-charger sold seperately is something Im going to get. I think it took close to 4hrs to fully charge the 2AH battery with the standard charger that came with it. That said, I will definately be using this more than my old gas powered unit.

I use it to clear grass clippings, leaves and small twigs from my driveway, patio and walkway, which is about 1600 sq ft total. It takes me about 8-10 minutes to do this and I am able to do it with one battery, although I notice a small drop in power for about the the last minute. I have a more powerful plug in blower for fall clean up. I would really recommend this for leaf duty unless you have a small yard. But for the price and the job I needed it for, it gets full marks. I also have other Craftsman tools that run on the same battery so that influenced my choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bhopal84 from Poor battery performance, weak blower. Very disappointed in the performace of this leafblower. I am loyal to the Craftsman brand and picked up the combo pack of the leafblower and weedwhacker. The weedwhacker works as expected, no complaints there but the blower just did not deliver. On the stage 2 (high) setting, using the V20 2Ah battery fully charged, I was able to do my driveway and get halfway down 1 side of my front sidewalk, lasted 10-12 minutes tops, and the battery was spent. I know there are higher Ah batteries available but I expected to get more time on one charge out of the box.

I purchased this battery-powered blower for three reasons: 1) to have a touchless way of removing loose dust or dirt from my new vehicle's body; 2) to quickly but powerfully enough, blow leaves and debris from my garage; and 3) take it to the bocce courts to clear them of debris following a windy day. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and, so far, I'm very pleased with the job this is doing. It's so easy to handle when you don't have a cord to plug in or a heavy gas engine. it fits easily in my trunk for good mobility and the battery lasts for several uses before having to recharge it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rocky from Blowing Power of a Hair Dryer There is nothing wrong with the product or even it’s battery life. Nonetheless, I returned it after one use. The issue is that 200 CFM at 90 Mph is just not effiecent, even for light yard work. I had to do so many passes on my driveway just to get the grass clippings all the way down to the street. It felt as if I was using my girlfriend’s hair dryer! My advice here: cheapest isn’t always the best option. Compare specs, and spend a little more for something that is going to get the job done effeicently. This thing does exactly what is says it does; it blows. It just does’t do that well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cliff from hard surface wonder... Lightweight, single speed blower. For hard surface, garage cleanup, patio, sidewalks, it suites me fine. No power house for sure. If one needed to blow off twigs, pine cones, or grassy areas, its not enough. I have a heavier, more output cordless blower for the yard. But I like having small light weight unit for quick cleaup on hard surfaces. You get a compact charger with this unit, not the bigger charger included with other craftsman tools, so likely take longer to charge battery. I intend to use bigger charger and keep other charger as a spare.
