crap
bought this exact set and not even a year of usage the batteries get super hot (cutting nails in pallet wood) the drill has to be smacked against something to get it to turn back on, the drill head is wobbling around like its broken or about to fall apart, the circular saw wont even cut through a full sheet of 1/2 inch plywood without stalling out. both batteries wont even last an hr. TOTAL GARBAGE. the 18v chicago electric cordless drill that i have that's 6 years old, used and abused puts out better effort than this drill. The reciprocating saw can't even cut through a pallet without shutting off midway through a 2x4. i can keep going...

Craftsman V20 6-Tool Set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a recent 1st time homeowner and after years of apartment living needed to purchase a set of power tools to do projects around the house. I've used the drill, reciprocating saw, and oscillating tool so far and all three worked well. Not a huge fan that it is a soft case, but it is spacious and easily holds all of these tools and more that you would use on projects (hammer, box of screws, pliers, etc) so you could leave what you don't need on the workbench and carry everything for a project/job in the bag. Overall, so far so good.

Crafts and Man!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking for a solid tool set with a low price tag wasn’t as tough as I thought it was going to be. Obviously there are many high-end-high-ticket tools that may be much better but for a typical homeowner looking to do some DIY projects around the house, I wasn’t ready to drop a brinks truck on professional tools. So far I haven’t had to use the circular saw but everything else has been top notch. Battery life. Top notch. Weight. Strength. Top notch.

DIY Dad's Best Friend
I am a DIY dad, doing projects around the house and outside the house. The hardest thing I threw at this kit was dismantling my kids old play house. I cut the entire thing down and made quick work of it. I went through 4x1.5Ah batteries in the processes and the 1st battery was nearly charged when I ran out of battery on the 4th. I was using the circular saw and saws all. It chewed threw the batteries (brushed tools) but I got the job done. I was very impressed that the tools keep there strength until they stopped.
I highly recommend this kid for anyone doing stuff around the house. I am also excited about all the other craftsman tools that I can get and use with the V20 platform.

As Good as Ever
This is a superb and useful collection of tools I purchased for a gift. Unlike so many Asian-made products, these could last a lifetime.
The driver and circular saw are compact models, suitable for those who aren't muscle-bound. I prefer hard-shell toolboxes, but many like canvas carriers. My only complaint is their choice of circular saw. It would be much more useful if they'd tossed in their 7¼ instead of the 6½-inch model.
A big plus is the inclusion of two batteries, which reduces swapping and contact wear.
All in all, it's a useful and productive kit. The average homeowner/hobbyist, will find the collection a handy bargain.

Good for the beginner but not for the professional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good product. Better than I expected. Good feel. Seems durable. Its downfalls are: the batteries lose charge quickly when putting them through normal but longer trials. The reciprocating saw vibrates excessively and not as smoothly as other brands. The chuck on the drill is plastic. The motors get hot quickly. The drilling power is not like other 20volt drills. Much weaker. It’s a great start up kit but not for the advanced.

Awesome set and great value!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I specifically got this set because I needed an extra drill and wanted a cordless circular saw. The deal at Lowe's for all six was too good to pass up. Turns out the flashlight and impact driver are being used more than anything else. The ergonomics of these tools are great and very similar to Porter Cable tools. If looks are your thing, I think Craftsman looks sharper than Porter Cable. I have used all of the tools in this set and can attest that they are the best bang-for-the-buck tools I have ever bought (I've used DeWalt, Hitachi, Porter Cable, and Black & Decker). In terms of quality I would put these right below Dewalt and Bosch and above Porter Cable and Black & Decker. However, for how much you save I'd choose these over either Dewalt of Bosch. I got the set 3 months ago and would say I have used most of them a total of 30+ hours. Battery life is about what you'd expect for non-brushless power tools.

Very nice products
I've been using this set for 2 weeks now and the tools really seem to be working well, I purchased 2 of the bigger batteries Wich is almost a must when using the secular saw or sawzall and the only real issue I've had is the long charge times for the batteries, it's an hour for smaller batteries and almost twice that for the bigger ones. When it comes to performance though , my craftsman tools quite easily outperform the other brands I typically see on the job site and the price is very reasonable. I I'm gonna stick exclusively to craftsman now!!!
