This 8000 to 12 000 OPM 20 V cordless detail sander from CRAFTSMAN has a powerful motor, allowing you to power through surface preparation tasks. With its high performance dust collection system, you have the ability to control dust accumulation through the dust bag or the use of a 1 1/4-in vacuum connection. The lightweight and low-profile design provides additional control and reduced vibration. (Tool only, battery sold separately.)

Love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this sander. It is compact and light weight and easy to use for detail wood work. It is very handy and small size. No cord to worry about. Great job Craftsman. I highly recommend it to who is looking for detail wood sanding.

Good product for tight spaces!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The V20* Cordless Detail Sander is lightweight, and works as expected. The power button is slightly difficult to use, but not a deal breaker. Battery life seems to be good. It works great on getting into the corners of the refinishing project I'm working on. For comparison, I demonstrated the sanding abilities in the attached photos. Note I did not compare its abilities apples to apples, as my current sander is not an equal item. Both sanders used in the photos used 240 paper. 2 minutes of sanding. As you see, stripping the paint before sanding is necessary, but I hope this helps.

The best sander

Very Efficient!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This detail sander has been a lifesaver while refinishing and painting our bathroom. The walls and wooden cabinets looked terrible and there's been so much to repair. It's very easy and straightforward to use. The vibration isn't uncomfortable like others I have used. Cordless of course and still quite lightweight, even with the added battery. The pointed end makes getting into cabinet grooves and other small spaces easily. It works to remove various materials quickly, helping me get my job done faster. The dust collection bag and the option to use a vac hose is incredibly helpful and helps keep dust off everything. The sander I had been using made such a mess! I had no issues using the sander with the craftsman rechargeable batteries. It's a very powerful sander and good for many different types of jobs. I can't wait to continue using it on some of my furniture projects!

A surprisingly high quality tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sander feels great in the hand. A lot of care was taken in designing and picking the materials. The upper portion has rubber inlay for grip and comfort while gripping. Which also helps the effects of vibration. The battery also performed above my expectations. The dust collector could be larger but would not be an issue if using a collector. Overall I like this sander a lot.

Easy and Lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super excited to say this tool was easy to use and very lightweight.Great for detailed work,my projects in refurnishing old furniture has been amazing and less time consuming. I definitely recommend. I’ve already used it to refurnish a small bench and now I will try it on a dresser.

Great item for Yourself or a gift for Someone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very good quality. It works great. I like the fact that it has three speeds. Also that you can connect it to a vac hose. I tested it out and I am using it for another project coming up. I love it! Easy to use. I will be using it a lot. This brand has been in our household and Family business for years and will be for years to come.
