Description

This 21'' Craftsman® push mower is ideal for smaller yards. The mower is equipped with a 160 cc Honda® engine with automatic choke which eliminates any risk of choking or priming. Its 2-in-1 cutting deck allows you to finely cut the grass and spread it on the lawn to feed it, while the dust blocker bag offers a 1.9-bushel bag capacity, reducing in-air and dust debris. The 11'' rear wheels provide improved handling on all terrains while the dual 6-position adjustment levers make it easy to adjust the cutting height while mowing. This product is covered by a 3-year limited warranty.

How do you read the oil dipstick? no definite markings. Is the 12 ounces of oil that comes with mower enough for new engine? Manual says 17 ounces.

The amount of 10W30 motor oil provided with a new mower is sufficient. Be sure to change the motor oil after the first 5 hours of mower operation as specified in the operator's manual. A dollar store turkey baster may be helpful in removing the used oil from the crankcase.

Just had 1/2 of my lawn cut which wasn't completed due to my existing lawn moaner died on me. The setup was smooth, the engine is strong and the cut is to my satisfactory. I have 1/3 of an acre and there was quite some grass to cut. I head about the Honda engine in a different brand name but was pleasantly surprised to have a craftsman with a Honda Engine. 2 lawn mowers died on me in the past few years but this one from the sound of the engine I know it's a good one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Maxxmus from Refined motor and easy handling Replaced a 6 year old cub cadet mower that suddenly started having engine issues even after being pampered. This Craftsmen took mere minutes to assemble. Oil is included in the box. The mower started on the first pull with absolutely minimal force used to pull the starter cord. Engine is smooth and seemed just as powerful as the B&B 190cc engine of the old mower. Seemed to do a much better job of sucking grass into the bag. Uses less gas. About the same amount of noise as the old mower. Bought this at $399 which is a very fair price for any mower with a Honda engine

Avec tous les nouveaux modèles qui existent, je voulais retrouver la même, 4 temps, à pousser puisque je n'ai qu'un petit terrain plat. Celle-ci est encore mieux, avec un moteur Honda pour le même prix. Je ne savais pas la démarrer et je cherchais le petit bouton à pousser 3 fois... Nulle besoin, elle démarre du premier coup! Le plateau se change plus facilement de hauteur (2 roues à la fois) et le rinçage au jet d'eau, quelle bonne idée! Plus besoin de déconnecter la bougie et de gratter le dessous après chaque utilisation, on branche le boyau à la tondeuse! Franchement enchantée!

Rated 3 out of 5 by jjbowen from Second use already had hard time to start Bought this a month ago, the instruction menu is not easy to read ( it has multiple models in the same instruction and skips some detailed information). Second use i had very hard time to start it, pulled the cord at least 5 to 6 times, waited for the engine to start. Not sure how long this one is going to work as my yard is around 3000sqf. Seriously i wasnt really into buying another Craftsman with Honda engine but was baited into the sales. I also bought a Toro this year which i can tell is superior than this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MickyH from Great Lawn mower I Brought this one because I did not want a self propelled on since my yard is small Yet I wanted something powerful enough , I have tried battery too heavy and after a while won’t hold charge.. electric is too cumbersome to swing the wires around. This mower is awesome.. it’s works like a charm . One pull and it’s starts . The set up was easy and it cuts grass great ! It’s not too heavy and the price is good too..

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kendio from Good engine, poor cut Bought this machine in 2019. I meant to buy another machine but saw this one, I basically change my mind due to the Honda engine. The engine is good as expected but I find it odd that Honda wants to be part of a poor cutting device. It leaves stripes of uneven cut and I have tried to go same direction, opposite direction and you name it, just to try to reduce the uneven lines. I wouldn’t buy Craftsman again.
