Description
This CRAFTSMAN self-locking tape measure stays locked to facilitate taking measures. The lock button allows you to add additional pressure on the tape, and you can unlock it to retract the tape in a controlled manner so that the hook does not slam into the case. The fractions are printed onto the tape, which eases your reading. This tape measure will last you a long time and is backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

Good around the house tape measure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just needed a good, inexpensive tape for handyman work and light carpentry around the house. This tape fits the bill perfectly. I do most of my work alone so the auto locking comes in really handy and the tape is highly visible and easy to read. A good all around, and inexpensive, tape measure.

Tough enough for a toddler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this measuring tape a few months ago and it has stood up to the roughest toddler you have ever met! Its smooth and rigid design has stood up to every test he could throw at it! From using it for a baseball to seeing if it would float in the dog bowl. This thing has been through the ringer and still works just fine! Great product!

Review of Tapes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s hard for me to review any of the tapes. I’ve had the same Craftsman tape for over 2o years. If they make them as good as they made mine it will be good. Craftsman has always made quality products and they stand behind them.
