The plant is beautiful but it will take about 2-3 weeks to get rid of the fungus gnats. They even got to my other plants and have been a hassle to treat.

Awful choice of palm
Bought a month ago. Started researching care as it was growing but I had brown tips. Found out they always die, they can’t survive well outside of Madagascar. They need huge amounts of water but not sitting on their roots, very aerating soil and air circulation and humidity. Try a parlour palm for an easier keeper.
