Can it be cleaned with dish soap? Id like to use it as a kitchen table and place it in the sun and wondered if it would withstand the heavy use with kids?

Given all the solid wood acacia tables all have strict return policies from online stores we took the risk with Rona after confirming the return policy. Table came slowly as it appeared no one at Purolator wanted to carry a heavy table. The deliverer was very good and no drops were recorded on my camera's. The box should be opened from the top and it's very heavy to lift out. We slid it out standing vertically and slid it on a carpet to out dining room. We checked every surface as suck wood tables have horror cracks and fissures. No scratches and everything appeared smooth. However Corcoran put their name on a plaque. Fine, but why in the visible edge which ruins the look??? Luckily it's screwed on and I'll fill the holes with putty. Just dumb to not place the name on the underside like everyone else does. Very satisfied with the colour and condition. Stable and solid. Excepting the name plaque...

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cracked table from First one was cracked It's nice table. The first one I received was cracked and had to be returned. Hopefully the second one will be in better condition.
