A mil is a thousandth of an inch. So this are three thousandths of an inch thick. 3 millimetres is 118 thousandths of an inch thick. Quite a difference.

I found these bags online and purchased them for curbside pick up with some new rake and lawn/leaf bags. These Clear Contractor bags were excellent. They are super strong and allowed me complete my clean up jobs easily.
