Refresh the elegant look of your home with this Colonial Elegance sliding door from the Times Square series. The classic sliding door is an ideal choice for bedroom closets, foyers or offices. The smooth movement of the top-hung door comes from the pre-installed single-wheel rollers. A low-rise bottom track with marginal obstruction keeps the sliding door in place. The MDF interior sliding door comes with a 5/8-inch, white steel frame for a durable and rigid framework. Its bottom and top tracks match the white door frame for a uniform look. The door comes with installation hardware for easy readjustments and a stress-free installation. This Time Square sliding door comes primed white with a finished embossed panel for a clean look. It has a width of 48 inches and adjusts from 80 in through 81 1/2 in H. This sliding door comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Est-ce que ces portes ont besoin d'être peinturer avant l'installation ?
Oui. La surface des portes est traitée avec un apprêt (couleur blanc-jaune) uniquement. Il faut donc les peinturer. Notez que le cadre de métal est déjà peinturé blanc (don ne nécessite pas d'être repeinturé) et est couvert d'un pellicule plastique (donc pas besoin de mettre du tape à peinture pour couvrir ces surfaces).

Carboard garbage
DO NOT BUY THESE DOORS!! They may look fine in the picture but actually they are made of flimsy cardboard. Not only that but they come shrink-wrapped and when we tried to pull the shrink wrap off to paint the door, we found that it went under the metal trim around the carboard and was impossible to remove. So we have traces of plastic sticking out around the edges that we can't get rid of. TERRIBLE QUALITY that I will simply be replacing as soon as I find something else that fits my closet opening. I would have definitely returned them but our contractor had already installed them before I realized how terrible they were.

Portes 'cheap' mais parfaitement fonctionnelles
Pour le prix, je ne regrette pas mon achat (pour une chambre au sous-sol).
Toute la 'mécanique' (cadre en métal, rails du haut et du bas, roulettes) fonctionne parfaitement.
En contre-partie, les portes elles-même sont fait le plus cheap possible, probablement du MDF 1/8". De fait, les portes que j'ai reçu sont bombées ce qui leur donne une apparence très peu robuste, surtout vu de proche.
